I have gotten to know all the staff and they are always very friendly and accommodating. They also offer my company a business discount which is nice. And they stock a lot more things than you would imagine a hardware store would. I am also a custom builder by trade and they have all types of hardware that I use daily. Give them a try! Staff is excellent. Very helpful advising on types of paint for each project. You can walk in with a random nut or bolt and Walther knows exactly what you need to pair up with it. So if some say the pricing is a little higher than going to the “bigger” stores, the service and convenience is well worth it. Who has the extra hour or two to drive to a highway store, and then wander around with no one to help you, only to stand in a long checkout line? Village hardware is the gem of downtown Chatham
