223 US-206, ChesterOur 11-month-old pup had been turning his nose up at meals and dealing with soft stools for a couple of months. We’d tried different toppers and kibble from another store, but I knew it was time to head back to Well Bred for expert advice.
I explained everything to Alex, who spent a full 30 minutes walking me through different options. We left with a partially cooked food to use as a topper and a new kibble flavor to mix in.
Eureka! After just the first meal, our little guy started licking his lips. He’s now eager to eat, and things are moving in the right direction.
Every staff member was patient, attentive, and thoughtful with their recommendations. THANK YOU, Well Bred!

Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill
104 State Park Rd, ChesterIt's an hour trip from Metuchen but it's worth it! Love the pastries (I try 3-4 different type and it taste good and not too sweet), the weather was good and we spent more than an hour to eat, take pictures and experience the harvesting Chicken eggs. The owner Karen are so warm and kind! I can see the love and care she put into this farm. And thank you for the gift! Really appreciate especially in this mother's day!

Sub-Pub's pricing is about standard for 2025, but their portions are certainly generous. I have a pretty decent appetite and am rarely able to finish an entire half sub from here. I've never been dissatisfied after a Sub-Pub lunch. I'll eat 1/4 sub and save the other 1/4 for another meal. I go here at least once a week.

190 W Main St, ChesterFantastic local spot did not disappoint! The server was super attentive and kind to our 3 year old son. We had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, my husband had the sirloin steak a la siciliano (which he loved!), and I had the sliced steak medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection. My cosmo cocktail was one of the best I ever had. Our Apple pie for dessert and espresso martini were top notch! We’ll definitely return again!

We had shrimp tacos which I found little salty sauce however my husband loved the chicken quaesadila . There is outdoor sitting as well which gives a view of the Chester town lane , which is a summery little town.
