I began service with Republic when I moved in to my house in August 2024. There were 2 old Republic bins that I asked to be replaced with new ones. I was charged for both the new bins and for the removal of the old ones. They brought the new bins no problem, and gave me 2 separate dates for when they would pick up the old recycle bin and the old trash bin. They picked up the old trash bin within a few weeks. The date they gave me to pick up the old recycle bin happened to coincide with the normal trash day so I left both bins out. They TOOK my new trash bin away (with my trash in it) and left the old recycling bin. I must have called a dozen times afterwards, and it took 3 weeks to get my trash bin back. Meanwhile they still had not picked up my old recycle bin and I had to wait another 2 weeks for them to pick that up, and they finally did. But wait - 2 days later on recycling day I put my bin out and they TOOK my NEW recycling bin away (with my recyclables in it). So now I don't have the old recycle bin and I don't have my new recycle bin. Unbelievable!! I am so DONE with this company. I am thinking of suing to get back the money they charged me for my bins. Awful awful company!!

This only pertains to Republic’s Customer Service/billing located in Ohio. Beware when terminating service as Republic tries charging the consumer for picking up 2 containers $25/each + $20.10 Fuel/Environmental Recovery Fee! Threw those cans in my SUV & drove them to my actual local facility 4 miles away where thankfully I took pics of cans/serial numbers etc took 5 calls get damn $70.10 fraudulent charge removed! THERESA you rock & Sharlaine (sp?) spoke with you twice & you are nasty!

Definitely finding another company for services! I scheduled a bulk pick up and they never came. They closed the ticket as if it was picked up (which is a charge). I had to call back to be placed back on schedule for bulk pick up. I was promised they were coming and again, they did not pick up my bulk. It’s a holiday weekend and the offices are closed but I am dropping them as soon as their offices open.

Would rather burn my garbage and pay a fine before using this incompetent service! The owner will say they are sorry for you receiving poor service yet the have no phone number for you to call! They want you to e mail them and wait! The owner is a lazy and can care less. Garbage has to be picked up. Too bad they dont take his service with them to the dump!

If you like throwing your money in the garbage, use this company. I wish I could give this trash company negative stars. I live in a complex where everyone uses them. It's a bulk account. And yet, on a monthly basis, they miss pick-ups. But wait, hold on, they don't miss the whole complex, they miss random people. So....my neighbors can have their stuff picked up but mine will be magically missed. This happens, literally, at least once a month. Hold on, it gets better. Don't waste your time calling them. They truly could care less about your problem. They'll tell you someone will come to get it but nobody ever does. Never, ever, not once has anyone ever come back. So, like other people have said, do yourself a favor and use someone else.

Use any other local company you can find. Do not even try this stupid company. They picked up some boxes I left out of the container, and sent me a $400 overage bill for it, without communicating with me about the price or asking me for my consent. Plus I have been calling continuously for a day, but no one ever answers my call.

Don't do it!!! Choose anyone but Republic. They have multiple ratings because of their multiple locations and they are all TWO stars. They WILL continuously raise your rates without ever any explanation. If you call to complain they MAY lower your rates only to be jacked up again (3 month later). They have zero concept of loyalty and customer service is a foreign word to them. Please go elsewhere.

We've been using Republic for our business. They are absolutely awesome. They are fairly priced, show up on time without failure, and are very gentle and careful with my driveway. After having tried LM- and others who shall remain nameless, this is hella refreshing. Thank you fellas, for helping me with my trash headaches so I can actually focus on my work. Love these guys.

My business uses Republic for our waste disposal and the drivers are great and on time. I had a billing issue, but it was resolved by Amy Estrella and she even got us credit for the dumpster removal. We are seasonally opened for 3 months in the summer and the credit/Amy working with us to resolve the issue truly helped my business. I will keep sticking with Republic after the service we received. Thanks Amy and Republic!

Over the last 2 years I get a call every 4 months saying my bill has not been payed. I’m set up for auto withdrawal. When I call they see that I’m signed up for auto withdrawal and say “hmmm that’s weird” and that their system has me listed for automatic payment. So today when I called AGAIN to pay another 4 month bill that I was signed up for electronic payment, I asked if we could resolve this today because I’m ready to cancel my service and she was EXTREMELY prompt full to immediately switch me to customer service to cancel my account. I guess they think they don’t need to keep customers nor value them or help them with a billing issue when you’ve been a customer since 2017. This company has so many 1 star reviews it’s terrible.
