About Spruce Run Recreation Area
Spruce Run Recreation Area is a popular state-run park for picnicking, camping, boating, and fishing. It is a quiet, well-maintained, and peaceful place with beautiful views of the large reservoir and nice hiking trails. The campground is clean and surrounded by water, with clean restrooms and showers. The park is dog-friendly. It offers a cozy shelter and has reasonable rates with accommodating staff. There is one boat launch area located in the middle. It is a great place for a quiet trip to enjoy the outdoors.

Amazing campsite. It rained for 3 straight days but be love the place.

My first time fishing at spruce run and the bass fishing was really good for both species large/small bass. I definitely be returning to explore more areas of the lake

Great campsite! Peace, surrounded water, and super clean. The State park is less than two miles from downtown Clinton.Playground: Many playgrounds.Restrooms: Clean!Dog-friendliness: In the park and dogs are welcome but not in the campground.
