Round Valley Recreation Area is a favorite spot showcasing the natural beauty and lifestyle of the area. It features the Round Valley Reservoir with crystal clear, super clean water perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. The scenery is beautiful and stunning, with gorgeous walks by the water and through the woods, plus incredible sunsets and occasional hot air balloons. It offers good trails for easy to mild difficult hiking with lots of ups and downs, and is mild to moderate for cross-country biking. The park has great fields for events, campsites for the adventurous, and is a wonderful spot to relax, cookout, and chill. It is a happy place to escape the hustle and bustle. Swimming is not allowed in some areas, and fees are not charged until summer. The park is not very crowded at certain times and has loads of parking. Police are firm, appropriate, and helpful, keeping order.
