“My only issue is the way customers line up in aisles verses moving on to registers to check out.
This system of customers queuing
up in the grocery aisles blocks the acess of customers with shopping carts between waiting customers
too check out with customers who
are still shopping! Only hiccup however "Aldi" has descent prices on prepared "dinner" selections & frozen veggies & Cheese, fresh produce that rival the Major Brand Supermarkets prices in Bergen.
If you looking keep your food budget in line drop by " Aldi's" for realistic grocery shopping prices ! Also you will need to pay a "Quarter fee" to release a shopping cart! Don't 4get shopping bags!! Keep mind " Aldi's "
is similar too a TraderJoes - doesn't carry "hundreds" of food items but don't worry there are many tasty international food items to discover !!?”

“The Gun Hill Road Aldi remains a fun place to shop. And their prices on many items are more reasonable than the local chains.
The fruit and vegetables are fresh although varieties can be limited at times. Many varieties of packaged salads are available. The meat section is fairly well stocked with chicken, beef, pork, and salmon. Cheeses are a fun section- feta, gouda, goat, mexican amongst many more.
There is an ample variety of spaces.
Go early as the store does get crowded. Remember to bring your own bags.”
“Great little place, convenient and plenty of parking in the lot behind Carlos pizza. The store is clean, prices are very reasonable, decent grocery section with canned and packaged items, plenty of snacks and the young men who work here are very respectful and quick when ringing you up.”

I could've ? just been out if luck, but Queen ? Nayda allowed me to get another item of blueberries. The prices of fruit ? very reasonable ? fruit is fresh. “I'm glad the area got an Aldi. It's true they don't have everything, but they have all your grocery essentials, you can't beat their prices, and there are some items where I prefer the Aldi brand, (hummus, Italian bread, organic spring mix, etc) You need a quarter for a cart (returned when you return the cart).”

Only one complaint, why is Pickled Herring no longer sold?? We haven't seen it on the shelves in a few years we miss it!! If your listening please bring Pickled Herring back Aldi!! We are not alone in this, our extended family miss's the Herring too.”

“If you really want carne asada material to Butcher Boys behind know how to cut their meat it's a little tight in there but is a great store I would recommend it to anybody the best meat cuts that you can find anywhere around the Rockland area is specifically for carne asada”

“This compact store is pretty clean with large variety of produce and ethnic products. The produce I saw seemed fresh. The fresh fish in the back was well iced. Some prices are a little high but as expected for this type of store. Cashiers were efficient.I did not appreciate a worker in tbe aisle who was very reluctant to respond when I asked if they had frozen Pigeon Peas. I asked 3 times before he mumbled "ran out". A few minutes later I found a freezer case in front of the store filled with them! Thankfully not every worker is rude... I asked a guy behind the fish counter for Ackee. He very clearly and politely told me exactly where to find it.One star deducted for the rude worker. Otherwise I recommend this mini market.”
