It's a family run enterprise and the star is the matriarch Kiymet. She handles the expert tailoring done at the shop. I have had several jackets, coats and pants taken in since my weight loss. She is an expert at her art. Her advise is always on point. Needless to say, I have been completely satisfied with her amazing work. “They do great work with tailoring, but it's extremely frustrating because there is a disconnect with whoever normally answers their phone and the ladies that actually work in the store.Firstly, everyone is very nice/polite. There's no issue with anyone's behavior or the quality of the work. There's just a drop in communication. Whenever I call their shop number, whoever answers the phone speaks English very well and is easy to communicate with. When I go into the store, the ladies working do not speak English very well and I typically have to use Google translate to try and communicate with them. The lady on the phone says one thing, the ladies in the store say another. I had to call multiple times and go in multiple times to make sure my pants got tailored correctly. The price also kept changing, it would be nice to know up front before agreeing to the service.That being said, 10/10 on the tapering of my pants.”

They even had a laundry bag replacement policy, which about a month ago was still a thing, but when I try to get a replacement for my ripped clean rite bag, it is conveniently canceled. . . . . Other than that, I find the establishment great! Just don't buy the bags. You can get them cheaper elsewhere. The staff are nice and place is always clean.”

“Gentle Touch is our go to for anything clothing related! My husband needed a few suit pants/jackets taken in. The owners knew exactly where to make the alterations and they came out perfectly. The suits fitted so much better and the stitching was flawless.I have had a few blouses to have dry cleaned. The owners noticed a cluster of small oil stains I had and took the time to clean it out. I honestly didn’t think they’d come out so I left it, but they were able to get it out.I also appreciate that they have organic dry cleaning. They press all of our items neatly and when I take out my clothing from the protectors, there isn’t a harsh chemical smell that some cleaners might leave behind.They’re also super accommodating if you’re in a rush.The owners have been running this place for a long time. “June 2018 We have been bringing our dry cleaning to North Broadway Cleaners for years. This morning I tried on a pair of suit pants to wear to a wedding tomorrow and they were too big. I called Yoon at about 8:30A this morning. Without identifying myself, I asked if she could to 24 hour alterations. She asked what needed to be done and after I explained she said she could do it. It's 5:15P the same day and I just picked them up and she only charged me $18. Amazing turnaround...Amazing alterations. Thank You Yoon. +5 more stars.”

“The lady at the counter is really friendly and kind. I brought in my favorite rain jacket with a big oil stain that may have been there for a while. She told me they’d do their best to remove the stain but could not guarantee it. When I picked it up today, the stain is totally gone. I am so grateful for their quality of work.”
