“I truly like this store. I come home with a months worth of food for 150$ which is great in this economy! However I do not like the fruit from here, it is mostly rotten and if it's not rotten you better eat it the second you walk out of the store. I don't eat too much fruit myself but if anybody is looking for fruit don't get it from here. I also don't like how every time I walk in this place it's in a different layout. I understand it's a marketing tactic but I always have to look for everything I need like it's a new store! Other than that, I have no complaints! I love shopping here”
“We LOVE Philly Foodworks! We get a farm box every week and then do a la carte for most of our other foods for the week. Having fresh veggies, bread, cheese, fruits, kombucha, and tofu delivered once a week is so incredible. The quality and taste of the food is delicious (we joke that we are ruined for grocery store veggies at this point) and we've gotten to explore so many new types of veggies and fruits we'd never even heard of before. I also love being able to easily skip things if we're out of town and also subscribe to things, so I know we'll get it each week. I could not recommend this service enough! Would also recommend doing it with Bennett Compost, so all the scraps go right into the compost and the cycle continues!”
“Back at the Italian market like I always am every week picking up my weekly supplies of fresh fruit. I come across the best deals here by far when it comes to blueberries and strawberries today my favorite stand had blueberries for $1.50 for a 16 ounce container and same for the strawberries. They were fully ripened. I’m sure that’s why they were a little less expensive than normal nevertheless, you gotta get while they’re getting good few pictures here.”
“Went there after work, got Lucky because they close early during the week. But got an amazing Strawberry Banana smoothie, and some bar b Q ribs that were outstanding and falling of the bone. I loved the fruit punch also. I got some fried shrimp that were pretty bland and tasted like whatever they were sitting next to. I also got a decent piece of cheesecake and some rice pudding I didn't care for but all in all very satisfied and will certainly be back soon.”

“Finally stop by this summer and could kick myself for not stopping sooner. We
join the CSA box group. Enjoying it immensely. The artisan bread with the homemade herb butter was a big hit in our 3 generation household.
I would call it a co-op since not all items are grown on site. That’s a plus for us since we get to try different items from diverse sources. Peaches are a big hit with us.
CSA pick up day is very busy and the staff has an extra spring to their step. I was surprised by the second visit on CSA day they remember my first name and by 3 pick up day remembered my full name.
Well worth the stop by item can change day to day.”
“Love it here, the food is so fresh and delicious! We tried the pastels and Coxinha. I'm not Brazilian, but we were welcomed like family. I even brought my daughters back the next day because they loved the food I brought home! The owner is so nice, she treated me like family and so is the manager. He is always so pleasant. We will be back again and again! The owner even recommended a nice hair conditioner for me to buy and it is one of my favorite products now. If I could give 10 stars, I would!”
“Doesn't look like much from the road but the shop has TONS of goodies! Fresh produce, tasty desserts, beautiful flowers etc. The cashier was lovely. Will definitely be back!”
“The fruits and vegetables are fresh and reasonably priced. The owners. Mike and Mark are great. If they don't have a certain vegetable or fruit you're looking for. They will get it.”

“Great produce selection for a small shop. The premade salads, both veggie and fruit, are beautiful and packed to the gills, with multiple size options. Not much of anything other than fruit and veg, though.”
“Nicest people! I stopped to buy red geranium hanging baskets and a very nice worker pointed out they weren't the same red. I didn't notice but she didn't want me to get home and be disappointed. Then she helped with some planting geraniums and made sure all of them were the same kind/color red. She even went all the way to the green house to get more. Thank you for such a great experience!”
“I stopped in to buy some things but they were crowded and they were out of stock on a lot of items. But I guess it would be expected because of the storm that was coming.”

“Aldi in Woodbury is a great store to shop . However I was looking for a certain item and it wasn't in store. The Carmel wafers are in store around Thanksgiving, maybe its not available this year . I still give the store 10 out of 10 points ?”
“While I do appreciate this place, the hoagies I like a lot but compared to the amount of meat that you get now than say 3yrs ago is rediculous. Add another 1.00 or 2.00 but come on it’s just sad. How about organic produce?”
“Get the guacamole when you visit Maris Market in Haddonfield. It’s a great local market with farm fresh eggs, fresh cut fruit (we got the mango) and fresh cheeses. This corner marketplace is close to Westmont and Haddon Township with lots of street parking when you’re coming down Haddon Ave.
The corner shop has been many things over the years, so it’s nice to see a beautiful, bright and cheery local shop doing well!”

“I love ur store!I’ve been shopping there for 3+ years and have brought ‘MY TRIBE’ who have all become regulars. I LOVE ALL OF UR FEMALE STAFF THAT WORK THERE!!! THIS IS NOT A SEXIST REMARK!! Just my observations. The men/boys - not so much. Generally speaking about the boys; they are NOT FRIENDLY or HELPFUL and no personalities! No greeting and when asked a question - I get a grumpy unintelligible answer making sure I know that I’m bothering them!! In complete contrast to the female staff who are friendly, helpful (Wendy who is, hands down, ur SUPERSTAR!!!) She always knows where everything is and how much stock u have. ALWAYS a big smile and a welcoming Hi Paula!! She’s happy to see me and wants my business. Also , the gal out on Maternity leave: pregnancy & motherhood have brought out her softer side which is great!! There’s a newer black woman who’s wonderful!! Always a big smile & greeting! I can’t recall her name either. There’s also a white woman - a bit older than the other ladies/ always helpful as well!!
U have a good thing going and good prices - although they’ve been going up quite a bit and often. The quality of ur produce has really been going down which is very upsetting bc my family eats only fresh produce! I make a big salad every night and always a fresh side. I hope you’ll keep an eye on that as I have heard many comments from patrons saying the same thing while we’re over there picking through the fruit & veggies. And please take a look at ur male emplyees - they need some additional training and good customer service role playing!! I always found that role playing was an excellent tool to help improve employees greetings, conflict resolution, and answering customers questions. It gives them a chance to ‘try it on for size’ and get comfortable with new skills. Just make sure they know it’s an expectation - NOT A SUGGESTION!! LOL.
I want to thank you for a great alternative to the higher priced grocery chain stores!! And a friendly and helpful staff for the most part!!
Just get those boys in shape so the girls can stop showing them up!! Sorry for the length of this feedback! I’m passionate about my food & where I shop!!
Warm regards,
Paula G.
PS-Wendy even keeps an eye on my phone, keys and purse as I tend to leave them behind as I’m bagging my groceries!! It’s happened 3-4x I’m sorry to say!! But …. As I’m in my car rushing to get home - there comes Wendy carrying my purse or phone, keys etc.
God bless her for her kindness & caring!!
SHE’S A ROCK STAR!! ?”
“It's super nice, a lot of cheap food. Interesting food options from other ethnicities. Will definitely return! Managed to get like twenty plus things and only spent $93. If we had gone anywhere else, it would have been double if not triple the price.”
“This place is amazing. Laid out likea city, in a grid fashion, this bustling Market is a great place to start your morning at Luhvs deli or shop for that evenings meal. Fresh fruits, made to order food and beverages, a bakery or two, flowers and more! A definite must experience when in Philly! If you are a history buff, check out their story on the website!”
“It's Awesome n Amazing. Everything about this store is GOOD. And I Mean Everything. Staff, customer service, parking, fresh produce, fresh herbs and spices. You DI NOT have to stand in a line for a while ??. You are in and out❤️”
“What an absolutely awesome experience shopping at Tony Morelli's. Fresh veggies & tasty fruit, jams, honey, cool candles, beautiful flowers & neat outdoor garden ornaments. The Strawberries are delicious. What a great store. Sherry”
“The place was packed before a snowstorm; yet, everyone was getting what they needed, and most were smiling. I loaded up on supplies and got some great values too.”
“Everything you need in one corner of Reading Terminal Market. Even pressed juices. This market serves as a bright light of organic, healthy living in a dark world. Homestyle service, the crinkle of brown bags kind of feel. Of course, everyone brings their cotton, natural reusable totes! Fresh produce daily and it smells good!”
“We are visiting from Wisconsin and loved walking around the Italian markets and trying different foods. The pink flowers on the trees are in full bloom and offered some great pictures!”
“This place is Fantastic and not only convenient but they have a very large and varied selection of fresh Produce. They specialize in Many fruits and vegetables plus herbs and spices that one would often find in Traditional Latino Cuisine that are often not carried in Regular Supermarkets.
Many items are sold in bulk and they’re the cheapest prices I’ve seen especially for such hard to find items. They also carry a nice variety of tropical fruits as well as beverages. Other offerings include cookware, serving bowls, meats, eggs, sweets and many other items particular to Latin Culture. Particularly Mexican. If you’re into cooking ANY kind of Latino food then this place is a must. Also the owner and folks that work there are very friendly and helpful if you’re not familiar with some of the items and are non Spanish speaking and need help with translation of certain purchases.”
“I have been buying flowers for my window boxes for years here. They are so very lovely that I have had people stop in my driveway and in front of my house to take pictures of them. I take no credit at all for their loveliness. All credit goes to Mother Nature and her equally lovely friends at McCarter-Dallman.”
“I have been to the store for the first time only a few weeks ago. It's very convenient location wise. I found the selection and pricing to be amazing. I am white, but I cook all kinds of ethnic foods and cook with a lot of lentils & Indian spices. Even though there was some language barrier for me, we were able to point to different words on products to communicate with each other. I am gluten free and they carry a lot of gluten free grains and flours. They were also getting in millet grain. I was delighted because I have had increasing difficulty finding millet & sorghum. I got some goodies for my husband which he loved. I have been in other Indian grocery stores where there were not prices on the items and sometimes I felt like they charged differently by what you looked like or if you spoke the language (and sometimes I definitely felt excluded). If an item was not priced, I asked and they were apologetic and honest about how much something cost. I felt very welcome there & will definitely be going back. My husband asked that I take him next time 💜. And open until 10 pm! I went during the day & I didn't have any trouble parking but I have seen others park in the shopping center right next to it and just walk there if you have a larger car. It's worth the trip!”
“I moved down the street from this place in the last month and I absolutely adore it. The people who work there are super nice and happy. It has a great community feel and the other customers seem to know everyone who works there. The deli in the back is amazing - I get the breakfast sandwiches almost daily and their cheesesteak is low key one of the best around. Love love love”
“The actual receiving dock is on Red Bank road, on the left, just before the light at hessian ave. No over night parking. Great people at receiving, friendly and laid back.”
“Awesome little store for veggies, snacks, and smoothies! They also have incredible tamales, highly recommend swinging by on the weekend when they're fresh but they always have some in the cooler towards the back.”
“A convenient spot to grab everyday essentials, YMG Stenton Supermarket offers a good selection of groceries and even lottery tickets. The store is well-organized, making shopping a smooth experience for locals in the area.”
“What an absolute neighborhood gem. Sara's always has a great selection of fresh items and a decent pantry stock. Seasonal items are always on par, and if there is fresh guacamole available you HAVE to grab some.”
