“Aldi is a hidden gem. I enjoy walking around and leisurely getting the things I need which means I have to go when it's not busy and I know that's not easy for a lot of people. if you go when it's busy you're still going to get great deals because they are always there.”

“So. Many. Options. So many great food places. Savory, sweet, things to take home and cook, booze, all of it. Seating is hard to find inside but there's a good area outside with counter height tables to stand and grub!”

“I would never think to buy fresh chicken or fish at TJ. Recently I've been doing just that. Their fresh chicken is beautiful, clean, no feathers or hairs and no bloody bones. We buy the wings, boneless skinless thighs and bone in thighs, all excellent. The farm raised salmon at $9.99 a pound is a bargain and beautiful. No scales and thick cut. Trust me you won't go wrong. While you're there pick up some dunkers, great cookies.”

“I ate a meatball hoagie from here in like 2011 that I still think about. I have never before or since found one that slapped that hard - could not believe those out-of-the-warming-pot meatballs and fresh sliced prov could make that magic but it did. Also tried my friend’s sandwich which was the Italian (as advertised, a true classic - hard to find them like that anywhere but the old delis now) but I was so lost in the sauce of the meatballs that it didn’t matter. Also, the guy behind the counter? So helpful, so kind, so clearly proud of the place and the product.”

“This small but well-stocked shop has grown into my favorite place to do weekly shopping. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating. Lots of specialty and vegan options, including ice cream, dairy, and a freezer section, plus canned goods, local honey… the list goes on… and did I mention locally grown and exotic produce? They just keep getting better because they listen to their community and bring in what we’re are asking for, along with special surprises, like lychees, cotton candy grapes…”

“It’s that time of the year again…Yellow watermelon…corn…tomatoes… peaches. You can find that and much more at Lew’s Farm. Great farmers market. Customer service is excellent. Fair prices. You might even fall in love with one of the chicks, ducks or bunnies.”

“I just found this place searching Google Maps as an alternative to going into the city for Middle Eastern groceries. The store is small but well-stocked and I found everything I was looking for. Better prices than Phila. Their house-made hummus is the best I have had anywhere, ever, hands down. If you try it and don't agree, send me a reply and I will meet you there and pay for your purchase. I am 100% serious.Atmosphere: 4 stars only because Ammon isn't and eat-in restaurant. It's a small supermarket with a takeout counter. But it is spotlessly clean and the man at the register was very helpful and even offered to try to special-order an item I couldn't find (Gaz-a pistachio nougat candy from Iran.)Vegetarian options: Standard veggie options for a Middle-Eastern deli/grocery; mostly I purchased groceries but the house-made hummus is worth driving an hour for. I will be back to try the falafel and other vegetarian offerings.”

“Now I was suppose to take pictures but unfortunately my appetite took over, I'll show y'all next time. These hoagies are ammmmaaaaazzzzziiiinnnggggg! So fresh, so flavorful, and stays great 2 days later. The staff are soooo polite and welcoming. The girl at the register is so knowledgeable about all the products and gave great advice. The seafood bisque was soooo full of seafood and they give you the option of if you want it hot or not so you can enjoy it fresh at home or right at the moment, soooo convenient. I was advised the wings are some of best around so that's my next journey. Please support this wonderful local business”

“This is the premier stop when visiting the Italian Market! From cured meats to fine cheeses and all the pantry items in between, there is nowhere better to go.Olives, shooters, seafood salad, pasta, olive oil, gourmet vinegars... this shop is an overload for the senses! From the cheeses, among the "have to try" are aged provolone, extra aged Beemster (a gouda beyond explanation), Moliterno al Tartufo, and Testun Occelli alla Grappa.Their pepperoni has no comparison! You will always get fast, friendly service when you visit.Parking can be a challenge. The sidewalk will set you back $51 bucks, but can't be beat for convenience when you're hauling out 5 or 6 bags of goods! :)”

“I freaking love this Aldi. I have an Aldi store near me in West Philly. I would rather come clear across Philly to experience great customer service and excellent products. Personally, they need to shut down these other stores. If you aren't white, forget it. Security profiles while you shop and/or check out. Gotta be white to get adequate.service”

“When you visit this market you will find a variety of Greek and Eastern European products. The store is kept clean and the employees are courteous, providing a pleasant shopping experience. Additionally, their prices are comparable to those of other businesses that sell ethnic foods.”

“I love Moms Organic Market and Naked Lunch great fresh food and even seating. There's also an interesting connection about the name " Naked Lunch" It's fast but not fast food They have a wide variety of items but not just food, health and beauty products and small unique all natural gifts. Definitely not my desire but they even sell food crickets and have bee keeper supplies. Everything is environmentally conscious. Everything is always fresh and clean and the employees are kind, considerate and efficient. I think it can get crowded but I don't ever recall having to wait in line or being directed to do a self check out. Rest rooms and often small cups of coffee for free! I like to saunder the aisles sipping and savoring my coffee. I end up spending more money than I don't have in the first place but it's worth it.”

“Great hoagies, fresh rolls and deli meat is sliced to order for every sandwich by the owner. Soda and chips too plus a few grocery items if you need milk and bread. My mom says it's just like her corner store growing up in Oxford Circle, can't beat that nostalgia”

“Weaver's Way is justly celebrated as a Mt.Airy institution. Yes, some of the prices are high, but that's due in part to the quality of what's on offer and prices on staples are mostly reasonable. Yes, it can feel crowded but it also has a strong sense of community absent from Acme and other grocery stores. The staff is treated well and are lovely and helpful. If you are in the area, I strongly urge you to join!”

“Great little Indonesian grocery store/ mini market that sells Indonesian food and snacks! So happy to see some food items here that I had in my childhood! Cash or venmo only! The only minus is that their fried food/fritters options vary alot from day to day. One day you get great options another day not. But overall you can find great Indonesian food options here: tempe, gorengan (bakwan), klepon/onde-onde, kue-kue, desserts, nasi bungkus and bumbu/ seasonings”
