“through put the years I have been here many times, not for normal reasons, my dog kaya has had tail surgery ear surgery and issues on both ears. The care and professionalism of the staff is awesome.this thanksgiving was a hard one kaya had two tumors removed a malignent and a non-malignent. Today is January 12 2024 and I can say that my dog would not be here if not for their help and care. The best animal hospital in the area.”

“This office is a smaller branch of the practice. I usually take my dog to Raritan Animal Hospital but took her to this office to see the same vet we had seen before for my dog's condition. This office is much smaller and less busy, which was nice for both my dog and for me. The tech was extremely kind and did her best to put us both at ease. I wish I had gotten her name and hope to see her again next time we're there. Dr. Mills is great as well and took time to answer my questions.”
“If you are looking for an amazing vet or even a place for day care, Pups @ Play is it! They have the most amazing staff who are passionate about all of the dogs that come to them while also treating the pet parents with the same care. I have been through a handful of medical issues with my dogs and have always felt like my concerns were heard and the amount of followup and reassurance that my dogs are in the best care is above and beyond. I only trust my dogs to be treated by pups at play and specifically Dr. Weiner and his staff. They truly are angels and I'm extremely lucky to have found them!”
“Today was our last visit at WOAH, and it would be an understatement to say that we will miss it (we are moving well out of the area). From the doctors and technicians to the front desk staff, we have never not been impressed by the extraordinary care given to our dog, Gus. Gus has required a bit of attention during his first three years – he's a power chewer and eater! – and they have treated him as if he were their own dog. I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful team of people, and I am forever thankful for the kindness they have shown me and my husband when we were at our most worried, and of course to our boy, Gus. We will miss them very much.”
“The staff is very friendly. I was running late and Dr Patel waited for me so I wouldn’t miss my appointment for my new kittens. All of the staff treated my pets very sweetly. Dr Patel explains things with lots of detail and makes sure you understand everything.”

“My 11 y.o. Maltipoo passed away on 11/16/23. I had her cremated. I could not bare the process. They were so compassionate and professional. They offered to let me have more time with her inside( I couldn't). They actually came out to my car to get her in her cage where she had passed. I was able to say goodbye and complete the payment outside. Thank you so much to the caring staff. It was not easy at all but they understood and did their best.”

“Dr. Levine is a gem. We just got a goldendoodle puppy and this was his and our first visit. We came because of the high reviews and they were accurate. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and informative. Dr. Levine spent time with us, discussed issues we didn’t even think to ask about, and provided helpful tips not only to keep our new pup healthy, but behavioral and training suggestions as well. We made the right choice choosing South Orange as our vet. Last note, Sharon at the front will have you smiling the moment you walk in. “We started seeing Dr. D and his team in 2002. My puppy at the time had asthma; for the first few months of her life, other vets told us they did not know what was wrong with her, even after spending thousands of dollars. But after just one time of visiting Dr. D and getting the correct diagnosis, my baby girl lived to be 19 years old. We continue seeing him now. He is great and really knows what he is doing. Great service. Would give more than five stars!”
“In my opinion, Dr Campos is a rock star. I had two VERY sick pups. She got me in a few hours later after I contacted her. She took copious notes and came prepared. She had contacted my regular vet and got their records before she came here.She is highly skilled in her profession. I can’t think of a vet that contacts me every day since she was here to ask how they are progressing. No one does that! She does! EVERY day her assistant texts for updates. Dr Campos is the real deal! She’s in the right profession. Highly intelligent, caring and loving to our pets. She is a true professional .NO, I was not ever prompted or paid to write this review.”
“Good pets hospital inside pet store.Wait time might be pretty long, even if you have a scheduled appointment. I visit this place from time to time, and wait time might depend on time of the day. Early in the morning is better.Staff is friendly. A few times I didn't get a solution to my pets problem and felt like a girl on registry didn't really care or were willing to help. That's more of an exception though. Standard procedures they handle well.”
“Dr Astarbi was my vet for over 10 years. I had four dogs at one time and he took care of all of them. Of the 4 , two were put to sleep comfortably in my house surrounded by those who loved them. He is very professional, always gave me a call back and a lot of advice over the phone. I had one dog with Addisons disease. He took care of Bella until she passed away at a ripe old age of 15, usually adisonian dogs don’t live that long. She didn’t have many episodes but when she did Dr Astarbi helped her get back on track. I miss my girl Bella and my boy Giacomo so much. I moved to Florida and he sent me my dogs records. I miss him and Steve. I cannot find and caring vets here, what a shame. Dr Asarbi is very down to earth ,funny, personable and honest and always gave me good advice. I would get my dogs teeth cleaned every year with dr astarbi. Not one problem at all. I wish I could find someone here on the same caliber but I cannot. Dr Astarbi is highly recommended, you won’t regret having him as your long term vet. I hope you are going well, trinket and pia say hello!”
