“This is a satellite from Red Bank, a much larger post office and this does just as much business. Yet Red Bank will not allow more than one person to work here at a time so there are lines frequently. The mail person, Jaime, is absolutely superb in her handling of the job, professional, knowlegable and kind.”
“The USPS counter person Jack Kelly is extremely helpful. Had a big project we needed to mail out. Over 100 unique packages. Jack took the time to handle everything while continuing to help other customers. Even though I was there 45 minutes I never felt rushed. He was very Professional! Thanks for his assistance!”

“Angela the new post master went above and beyond when a package was received from a Boston post office. She called me right away to let me know it was my son's lost wallet. Then she had it sent directly to him. She has really cleaned up and organized the whole post office. Everything looks great. Gabby and Barbara are wonderful and so happy for Angela's leadership!”
“After having a poor customer service experience in Asbury Park (where I've had many poor experiences), I have been delighted with the service at this Wanamassa/Ocean location. I am able to get in and out much faster, and the front end workers are generally much kinder and less stressed. My most recent experience on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 12:53pm - the gentleman who helped me get my PO Box (I wish I knew his name - he is often there and on my receipt it says Clerk 07) could not have been more pleasant. Not only is the service better here, but the same size PO Box in Asbury Park cost over $100 more per year. I will continue to bring my business here.”

“Convenient location, but there's a man that works the counter who is really unprofessional and seems to hate being there. I once went in 30 mins before closing and he didn't want to ship my package because it was shipping internationally. He said "it was a lot of paperwork and they were closing soon so there wasn't enough time". He told me to come back the next day, but it was a gift and I didn't want to wait another day, which I told him. I said I would fill out the paper as fast as I could and he finally gave me the form, reluctantly. It took maybe 5 mins to fill out, he was just being lazy. He has an attitude with customers for no reason. Makes you feel like you're a nuisance.”

“Brittney is the kindest most loving clerk I’ve ever met. She took adorable passport pics of my baby when he was just 4 months old and managed to get a great shot by climbing into a tough high position to make it work.
She loves people and has been consistently been a ray of sunshine each time I’ve needed to mail anything.
However much she’s being paid it should be doubled or more.
Thank you for making this my fav post office.”

“I lost a package in the mail last Christmas and the supervisor and the one guy behind the help desk the tall one were super helpful. They gave me a number to track down my package which they located. It was en route back to the sender. They messed up my address so it was on the sender's side where the mistake happened that delayed my package. If it weren't for the clerk and supervisor assistance I wouldn't have had the issue resolved. They caught the mistake just in time for me to contact the sender and have them correct their error. I still managed to get the package ( gift )before Christmas.”

“Pleasant and efficient. After confusing mix up with Amazon. I saw that I needed to go to Asbury Park post office to pick up our packages. When I saw the reviews I was preparing myself for the worst. It was anything but that. The woman that the counter was pleasant and solved my issue immediately and I was on my way in less than 10 minutes. Kudos.”

“Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from…I’ve been using this location for almost 10 years an I have never had an issue. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Post office is clean and there’s rarely a wait. The rest of the post offices in this area are absolute nightmares - this one and it’s staff are a saving grace.”
