“Was looking online for a reliable, honest mechanic I could trust, since mechanic that once serviced my vehicles for 10+ years was no longer in service. Came across Universal auto repair and they great reviews, so I decided to make an appointment. Explained exactly what I was experiencing when driving. At first glance they couldn’t pin point the issue but with a bit more info from me they figured it out. Also had inspections/emission and daylight replaced. Will be taking my vehicle to them going forward. If looking for a trustworthy and friendly shop this is the one. Highly recommend ?”

“BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I’m 5 months pregnant and have 2 toddlers at home. So when my car battery stopped working this morning it was the last thing I needed to happen. I called around to different shops early in the morning and came across this one. The man who answered the phone was eager to help and told me I can come by right away. Mind you this was like 8 am. I dropped off my car and was told they will look at it today. Later in the day, not only did they figure out the problem, but they got me a new battery and put it in!!! So before they closed my issue was not only diagnosed but also fixed at an extremely good price!!! They went above and beyond what I could’ve asked for and made it possible to me to be able to drive my kids to daycare tomorrow and get to my doctor’s appointment. “Repair work on a 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe LT for a fuel injector issue as well as replaced catalytic’s and a service oil change.
On my repair job, from the very beginning, Tom Messenger has been an asset in calling me to let me know after he did the initial review what the initial assessment was, and, then he put a plan into action and called me back at each, and every interval to let me know what needed to be done.
He was timely and accurate and the price was reasonable for the work that needed to be performed.
Again, thank you Tom for your leadership and excellent job in following up and completing things on time.

“This was my first time going to Matthey Automotive. I would normally take my car to a mechanic in Westmont but they have a new front office coordinator and I have been considering going to another mechanic. My parents recommended Matthey. Overall, it was a good experience. My car was ready yesterday and it seems to be running well. The price was within $100 of the estimate I got from the other mechanic. The front office coordinator I met is Carl. He seems like a nice guy and I especially liked his bakery recommendation!
I don’t think I will bring my car back to the Westmont mechanic.

“Omg. This place really saved me. I was driving home from work when my tire pressure light came on and my tire was leaking so much air that I was running out of time before it was completely flat. I pulled up to Mavis in Delran and asked could they please help me because they were about to close in the next 10 minutes. Remy was so pleasant and helpful he came outside took a look at my tired and noticed the thread on my tires was also pretty low. He took my car keys.
