“I was on the hunt for the mini print machines by Fabiolita Draws (her Instagram handle) and The Merrygold Shop was one of the stops on the crawl. I ended up loving the shop so much - there were so many cute little knickknacks here! I ended up picking up a really cute sardine claw clip and a pair of sardine hair clips in addition to some stickers.
If you want something cute as a gift or just want something nice for yourself, this is the store for you! They also have excellent gift cards as well, so it's basically a one stop shop if you need a cute gift fast!”

Duross & Langel has the same kind of quality and vibe I've been missing, and it's already one of my favorite discoveries in the city. “We had a fantastic time at the Northern Liberty's Second Street Festival, which is quite an amazing event featuring around 250 local vendors spread out over a delightful half-mile stroll along Second Street in Philadelphia. Can you believe this was my first time at this event, even though it’s been happening for 16 years? I can’t believe I missed out all this time!
Anyway, walking through the festival opened our eyes to so many things we wouldn’t typically encounter. We stumbled upon this charming place called Trunc, and what a gem it is! Stepping inside feels like entering a world of handmade retail brilliance. It showcases a wonderfully diverse group of independent business owners, each offering a unique selection of goods—from stunning housewares like furniture, decorative lamps, vases, and handcrafted art to delightful items for the kitchen, bathroom, clothing, accessories, and toiletries.
The vendors here have been carefully chosen for their creativity and commitment to sustainability. Isn't that such a refreshing way to do business in a world that often gets lost in mass production? I absolutely love this concept, and I truly wish there were more spots like this around!”
“I moved to Mullica Hill NJ about 5 or so years ago and quickly discovered the super cute shops on Main Street. I had also just gotten back into painting and crafting around the same time. One of the shops I immediately fell in love with was D-signed for you! Not only do they have a friendly staff and great assortment of fun and unique items to purchase, but also a great selection of paints and classes. I took a workshop there which was so informative and valuable to me as a crafter and furniture up cycler. The owner Danielle is always so helpful and friendly, and I run into her often at the store or at all the exciting Main Street events. She is a bright and bubbly and always happy to help or encourage you in your home decor or artistic pursuits.”

“I took part in the Ricotta making class on 5/31 and it was amazing!!! I highly recommend this for a friend activity or husband wife date night. Gina and Colleen were so friendly and put us at ease during the whole process. It is a class for 8 people so it is very cozy and you don’t get lost in the shuffle. You walk out with your homemade ricotta (delicious-I can never go back to store bought) and the whey. They have wine set up and they bring out tasting treats to pair with homemade ricotta. We had a pastry test taste and a dessert. All was delicious and my daughter in law to be and I walked out with several of their homemade products. They have a store as well as participate in two farm markets. The picture shows my lunch the next day! Other classes will be coming in the future and I will be back as a customer and class taker. Follow them on FB or sign up your email for their info. Such a wonderful find. Thank you Gina and Colleen for a wonderful class. Our family enjoyed all the tasting once we got home.”

“We stopped in here so I could use my coupon from the Phillies 5k. I was looking for the Phillies hot dog hat, but one of the employees told me it sold out in 1 day. However, I found a sparkly red Phillies hat which was so me. The ladies at the registers were all super friendly and a pleasure. This store is full of great merchandise and there were no lines during the last inning of the game.”

“My friends and I have been going to this little gift shop for several years now and we will always keep coming back. I love how there has consistently been new items added in the shop every time I come back. I love buying the Blind boxes, keychains, Lego sets, stickers, and much more! Everything is so adorable inside and I love how cozy it is. The staff are also very polite and sweet. They answer any questions I may have. I also enjoy their 10% off any cash purchases over $10.
