Art Star is a wonderful shop and a special place, now located inside the Independence Visitor Center at 599 Market Street. It is a happy, friendly little boutique featuring all local makers and artisans from Philadelphia and beyond. The shop offers a wonderful collection of quality goods made by hand, including gifts, art, ceramics, jewelry, prints, paintings, cards, and stickers. It is a gem for finding unique wares and supporting local artists. Many note that its Google Maps location is incorrect and confirm its new address at 599 Market Street.
i got some great philly postcards and stopped by their mini print vending machine. highly recommend!

The owner is such a sweetheart. Very happy to see Art Star alive and kicking still after the Bourse was closed down. The shop has grown a lot since the move and it's nice to see all the beautiful, independent artwork displayed. Makes me happy to see so many creators being supported locally!

Hands down one of the most amazing places to shop and see new art too in Philly. If you haven’t been to Art Star - GO!!! It’s superb. Seriously. Amazing owners (women owned) and incredible curating. Art Star is a huge asset to Philly YO!
