“Came here to specifically look for one thing, which I completely forgot to get. Everyone says the prices are cheaper, some things are but if you want name brand, this isn't the place. Limited brand name items. I did get a few things that I really didn't need but couldn't resist. For me, this store is hit or miss. I would go back because of some unique finds. Only one cashier but she moved pretty quickly and was friendly.”

“I love to shop at Aldi's. They carry alot of the same varietyog items that the Supermarkets carry. May be different brands, but it still tastes just as good and the prices are better.”

“They have groceries and packages that are small which are good for me. The food that I bought was fine. It's easy for me because the store is small. I don't have to search for parking. You have to use a quarter to use a shopping cart.”

“In the sleepy little town of South River, who knew that you could find a treasure trove of authentic Portuguese restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. Cavaco Supermarket is known in town as the go-to Portuguese deli, grocery, and bakery. The shelves are even stocked with products imported from Portugal. On the front counter, you'll find a variety of fresh baked breads, codfish fritters and turnovers, pastries, as well as of course espresso. In addition, they are a churrasqueria and offer delicious BBQ chicken, served in a giant tray over rice and fries. Their pastries, such as their bola de berlim and pastel de nata I'm not too much of a fan of compared to other spots in town, but their chicken and codfish fritter was delicious and their fries are even fresh cut. Take a look at their various imported goods and merchandise and you'll certainly be surprised!”

“I like this store, always shop there. they have different brands for the same items that you can buy in the supermarket, but it does not reduce the quality, however, it it's cheaper for some items. I removed one star for the fact that at least in my area the store restock become force and less quantity become a available, not sure why is that happening, perhaps it may depend of the day of the week, bit it is noricible from the time when those stores just appeared in the neighborhood.Still my favored place to shop.”

“Nice Bodega. Clean compared to many others I've seen. Terrible parking. The menu there is non existent but they make sandwiches, tamales, etc. Food is good and prices right. You need to ask for what you want and go from there.”

“The Bishops Storehouse is a food pantry that serves The NY Metro area. Orders are placed electronically in each church unit by the unit leader, usually the Bishop, hence the name. The orders are packed here and sent to satellite centers for distribution. All workers are volunteers. For more information on Bishops Storehouses and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints welfare programs see”

“There are a lot of reasons to love NetCost market. I like the assortment of products which are imported from the countries of the former USSR, such as: Russia, Ucraine, Belarus, Moldova, and others. Here you can find products from other former socialist countries of Europe. But, sure, there a lot of american products. Un unofficial name of this market is the Russian market. I recommend visiting and shopping here ar reasonable prices.”

“I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. An item that I couldn’t find in a 15 mile radius and they had it. Can’t say what the item is because when I’m ready to buy it, it will be gone and I will be mad.”

“This typical Spanish grocery store, in this area (much like the Tropical supermarket chain), is a reasonably ok place, for me to get some things, at an affordable price, that I'd have real trouble finding, at that low a cost, in a nicer store like Stop&Shop or ShopRite. For example, they currently sell ground beef (which I use mostly to make hamburgers with), for only $2.79, a pound. Where else can you find hamburger-type beef, 80/20, that cheap, around here? (Nowhere!) And their pork chops are often outrageously inexpensive, too. And, if I want a bag of good oranges, or some romaine, I can get them here, at equal or less cost than Stop&Shop. Stop&Shop is 1.5 miles away, on foot, walking, or 2.0 miles by car, from where I live, now. And, although it is in a nicer area, than the more urbanized location of this Fine Fare, nevertheless, Fine Fare is only 0.8 miles away, walking on foot, from where I live now, AND--it is right next to the Family Dollar store, which I use for all of my paper goods and detergents and cleaning stuff like brooms and mops and buckets, etc. So, long story short: I have found myself WALKING to, and using, both Family Dollar AND Fine Fare, a lot, within the past year--especially since that regular weight-bearing exercise (walking), has enabled me to recover 95% of the mobility that I lost, in Sept. 2021, when I went down on my bicycle, and shattered my left hip. (Robert Wood Ortho put 3 titanium screws in my upper left femur, as a result, but it is now virtually healed, after only 9 months--thank you very much, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, in New Brunswick!!!) At the time, I was coming back from the George Street Co-op in New Brunswick (much further away), overloaded with stuff that I've now been able to get elsewhere--or have been able to do without, since. The Co-op still has some good stuff, but I have trouble dealing with their left-wing political leanings, as well as their greater distance, from where I live now (as well as their early closing hours, on weekends, when I'm most likely to be in New Brunswick), so I don't go there, anymore, as often as I used to (but then, they really don't have any idea how to run a business, only their own political ideas. This isn't always a bad idea, however, since they truly support healthy nutrition and organic farming and herbal medicine, etc, when many other places, have no clue, about it. So, I have mixed feelings about the Co-op, currently.)”

“I've been a loyal customer for years - I even followed them from French Street to Hamilton! They have an amazing selection of African grocery items. And while I haven't seen Eunice herself in years, her son has done an amazing job of keeping the place going. The staff are always super friendly and welcoming, which just adds to the overall great experience of shopping here. And even after all the challenges brought on by COVID-19, I'm so glad to see that they're still going strong.”

“Wonderful customer service. The very nice lady at the cash register was extremely helpful to me. (12/9/23) She treated me with kindness and respect. The store has all the wonderful healthy products I look for.I purchased mint leaves, henna , turmeric powder and lemon Tang.I went back on December 12, 2023 after 6 PM and there was a young guy working the cash register who charged me $3 flat for ginger powder that clearly shows $2.49?I have no idea why he wanted to overcharge me by $.51. So now I will just go elsewhere or avoid him like the plague.”
