This review is long overdue, but I still wanted to be sure to leave it to let others know about my excellent experience.

I’m 5’7”. Having always been on the shorter and slimmer side, I’ve found it challenging to find the “perfect” pair of pants that fit and feel just right. Unfortunately, I’ve purchased so many pairs of ill-fitting pants over the years that I’ve lost track. It’s been especially difficult to find the right denim, from both the fit and the fabric. I feel like I’ve tried nearly all mass-produced, in-store options to no avail.

I became especially disappointed in the months leading up to my first Todd Shelton order after visiting many stores and realizing that most “denim” is no longer what I remember from when I was younger. Nowadays, much of it is actually stretchy or elastic. It feels like most clothing in the U.S. is trending more and more toward athleisure-type materials. On top of that, finding an ideal fit has proven incredibly challenging. I prefer my pant legs to be a bit shorter, yet most pants I try on in-store end up being too long and baggy. I’ve grown tired of being told by store associates that “they look perfect” despite not feeling right to me. I’m also tired of settling for what I consider “good enough” and then paying extra for tailoring.

Naturally, I was very intrigued when I read about Todd Shelton online. After my first experience and my first pair of custom-tailored denim, I’ve decided I’ll never buy denim from anywhere else.

The process of finding my perfect pair began by ordering a standard, ready-made pair from the Todd Shelton website, as recommended. After receiving this first pair, I was able to assess the fit and determine what I liked and what I wanted to improve. What I appreciated most was being able to cuff the legs and measure the exact length I wanted, since I’m particularly picky about pant length - not too long, but not too short. I emailed the Todd Shelton team with the measurements for my custom pair.

I was able to fully customize every aspect - from the fabric (I chose Italian denim), to the waist size, seat, thigh, and calf room, fly type, and more. It was honestly incredible how specific I could be. I then returned my “trial pair,” and within a few weeks (sooner than expected), I received my custom denim.

After wearing them for a bit, I realized there was one small detail I wanted improved - I believe I asked to have the seat taken in slightly. The team at Todd Shelton was wonderful and let me know I could send the pair back for one complimentary alteration, which I did. The end result was a pair of jeans with exceptional quality and an impeccable fit. It was the first time in my life I truly felt “just right” stepping into a pair of denim.

I’ve been completely satisfied ever since, and my only concern now is what I’ll do if Todd Shelton is ever no longer around. Here’s hoping many other discerning customers continue to discover and support this wonderful company so they’ll be around for many years to come!”

“Got a shirt. A hat and a nicer shirt that’s a button up when I came. Only place with clothes appropriate for weather. Perfect workout clothes. Outfit not from Uniqlo. I like the quality of Uniqlo. Especially for the price. Anything I bought from Uniqlo still seems new after years of use. Warm pants are really good for winter.”

“Yesterday I went to the Vans store to purchase shoes for my son. There were two attendants who were super. First one was named Mel and the second was named Kalen. These two people were great. They were super friendly, so patient, and really helped me. They took their time to talk to me and made sure that I got what I wanted. They were truly concerned with me finding the right pair of shoes, not just making an easy sale. If you go to this store, ask for Mel and Kalen. They were great!”

“Don’t waste your money on Lululemon and Alo when you can get better looking, better quality clothing for a fraction of the price. The pants are officially priced at $100 plus but with all their discounts and sign ups you can get them for like 25 bucks. I got 5 pairs of pants for $130, which is the same price as 1 pair of lulu joggers. The fabletics joggers are crazy comfortable and durable, they look amazing and they are hands down the best sweatpants I have ever purchased.
I also got a pair of dress pants, those are also great I just don’t like how it’s a snap as opposed to a clasp which is easier to use.
