“We have lived at Plaza Square for over 3 years and we can't express how much we love it here. Melissa Payton and her great staff have weathered a difficult renovation period with professionalism and great care. The place is gorgeous and the amenities are plentiful The spacious apartments have been beautifully renovated and these same apartments in NY or LA would command 200% more the leasing rate we pay here. The is a great sense of community and a great feeling of safety. The beautiful pool to the great gym, the lounge to the concierge are all high end and maintained impeccably. Ultimately though, it is Melissa and the great staff that really makes this HOME and not just a place to live.- Ladd Boris and David Gatto”

“After just moving in a few months ago, we can truly say that we feel completely at home in these beautiful apartments! We live in a safe/quiet building, in an extremely large unit, with tons of natural light, beautiful crown molding, and best of all in-unit laundry. We’ve found that everyone living here is extremely friendly, and have noticed that the grounds are kept impeccably clean. The building is within easy walking distance to the train, downtown area, farmers market, and the amazing greenway which space for miles! The only downsides to living here include the difficult parking situation (on weekends mainly). Only one designated spot is provided per unit and being next to an extremely popular restaurant, those patrons often take up the extra parking in front of the building leaving us residents with two cars few options for parking. In addition, this building also does not have an elevator (odd being that it was only built a few years ago). Overall though, we absolutely love the building, the location and and the convenience to everything one might need!”

“I have lived in Douglass Gardens for over thirty years. Love it . You may wonder why I've lived here for so long? I'll tell you- Douglass Gardens is close to everything - grocery stores, gas stations,restaurants, train station ,bus station, hospitals (2) , colleges, Rutgers which include Busch, College Avenue, Cook, Douglass, and Livingston campuses , Middlesex College, and Princeton Uinversity . 287, Rt 18, Rt 1 and Rt 27 are close by. There are three nearby parks ( Colonial Park, Buccleuch Park and Johnson Park. )There is also a bicycle shop five minutes away. Then there's the beach , an hour and fifteen minutes away if that ,depending on which one you prefer. AWESOME -
The apartments are spacious , bigger than other apartments around the area that I have seen.
Douglass Gardens is also pet friendly and I really like the off street parking. There is also a play area for the kids.
Our property is kept in great condition and we have some very skilled technicians here, a responsive management team that takes care of things right away.. can't ask for a better community atmosphere...this are just a few reasons I' ve been at Douglass Gardens-for over thirty years and why I call Doulgass Gardens my home.”
“It's been three months that I moved here from Hackensack and anybody that is from up north knows how crazy expensive it is to live up north in a damn shoe box. I literally have everything that I want and need from my new home. I love it. Yes there are a lot of fees when signing your lease , expect that. I love the space and my husband and i are very happy”
“My husband lived here for about 8 years before I moved in with him. After living 2 years together we grew out of the space and moved into a house. We loved how close these condos were to GSP and the Turnpike. There are so many stores around the general area, you'll pretty much find anything you need within a good 2-10 minute drive. There's also quick access to the local park through the trail in the woods which we loved to take advantage of daily. Great condos, never had any issues.”

“By far one of The best maintenance staff I’ve ever met , Very friendly and welcoming . I’ve lived in two other complex developments and always had problems with response times and things getting fixed. I can say that whenever I put in a ticket for my apartment the response time is within the same day or the next . Even outside making sure the property is clean and kept up .”
“I've been here for my whole life and its pretty nice and the house is good but the shelf in the shower they put in there fell off and today the tub and sink filled with muck like sand thats dirty and smelly interpret that any way u want”

I especially want to recognize the management and maintenance staff. Vicky, Oscar, and Phil have always been responsive, professional, and ready to help whenever I have needed assistance. They address maintenance requests and other concerns quickly, which makes a real difference for residents.
Like any community, there are a few minor issues. Parking can sometimes be challenging, and unfortunately, a few residents do not dispose of their garbage in the proper locations. However, these are relatively small concerns compared with the overall quality of the community.
Overall, Meadowbrook Village remains a good place to live. I appreciate the friendly staff, prompt service, and pleasant environment, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed condominium community. VILLAFANE H. 2026”
“I'm not in agreement with a lot of the reviews I've read about this complex. I moved in to the complex in 2018, never had a bug other than those million-legged critters coming from the woods. Neighbors, for the MOST part, are quiet and keep to themselves. I've never had an issue with the maintenance team or their process. Call in, she'll write up an order and give you a time range, I personally just tell them to use the key from the office and 'whatever' is fixed by the time I get home from work. NEVER an issue. Assigned parking would be a great amenity to have, but could possibly be a headache for such a big complex, so it is what it is. (Not too bad if you're getting home before 7 pm.) Aside from that You're not going to find a more spacious apartment for these prices anywhere.”

“I have lived here for 17 years and love it!! I have never had any unsafe incidents. If anything needs fixing or replaced it is done immediately or within 24 hours. Great location to reach all 3 major highways, 287, Turnpike and Parkway.”
