Place is a joke. The gov needs to gut these places and rebuild the processes from the ground up. 2 and a half hours of waiting despite having an appointment to get what I needed done. They’re stuck in the stone age. No need for these things to take this long.

Pretty bad experience at this location.
We came from the Dayton location because Edison did licensing. Dayton’s reception was normal, clear about what they do and do not do, and directed us accordingly.
The receptionist at Edison was extremely rude and condescending. We requested assistance with changing our address. First, she claims to be helping, but seemingly gives up on life halfway through.
She asked us to open Chrome on the phone. When I handed the phone over, we were already on the MVC website, and she got furious because it wasn't on the search page. I opened a fresh window for her. She types the URL for the site that was previously on the screen when we gave her the phone.
She got frustrated and basically told us to come back at 8am. She wouldn't take the appointment. We didn't protest, but looking at the security guards’ faces, it was clear that this was not the first time she had treated customers this way.
I would rather she tell us she can't help than pretend to want to help and blame us for the problem. She needs to be fired.

I have been to this MVC in the past and it wasn't bad, even when they rolled out the points of id they were mostly organized. The staff were courteous too. I had to go to renew my license because they needed an updated picture. I had al my points of Id in order. As soon as i walked in there was no one to direct you where to go. I had my renewal form and was given another form when i asked for clarification the clerk was rude and curt. The Id line was long and it took forever to get to a window. i had an appointment and wound up being there for 2 hours. The clerk was rude and can see from her expression when i walked to the window she was just going to give me trouble. She picked on me for adding my middle name to the new form(my mistake) when i tried showing her the form i was sent and completed she continued with the objections to my name compared to my birth certificate, and according to the website i shouldn't have needed for a standard license renewal. I ended up getting the real id and only hope i get my license, i received the renewal in the mail so late that there were no appointments until the middle of Sept so as it is my license will expire before getting the new one. The temporary paper is only good for driving and not for id. The only helpful and polite person was a security guard who tried to help me out when i lost my place in line because the clerk made me fill out another form. I doubt i will visit this agency again.

Visited on Sep. 19 for a Real ID after an unpleasant appointment at the Delanco MVC. This location was pretty efficient and accommodating. Special thanks to the woman at Booth 4 between the hours of 10-11am!

I will never come back here again. I’ve been here twice, and each time they said there was a problem with my proof of address. The information I provided the first time was suddenly not acceptable the second time. Everyone gives a different explanation. Terrible service. No wonder they have plenty of opening appointments, takes me 50mins to here and did nothing again

My son took his road test here and was literally traumatized! The instructor, initials CKI AND EXAMINER ID 6893 black man, was yelling at my son the whole time. Telling him to rush into oncoming traffic and criticizing every move he made. At the end of the test, he told him that he’s lucky he won’t fail him as supposedly he stated that his boss was monitoring him. I have driven with my son and I’m the worst critic so I can tell you that my son did not deserve what he did to him! My son is very respectful and always willing to do what’s right. He was so discouraged and disappointed with humanity as his eyes were quickly opened to the reality of life. These kids are nervous enough as it is and there is no need to be so rotten. This man does not belong in this position and should be fired ASAP because I’m sure he is miserable to all. As for the id check personnel, they are just as rude and nasty. In a management position and working with the public m, I despise this unprofessional demeanor. The only semi pleasant experience was at window 13 when my son has his picture taken. I hope these reviews make a difference.

The staff is so nice but…the DMV systems are ancient and need updating. It’s easier to get global entry. What a total mess. A waste of time for every human involved. This place makes you confused and disoriented and disorganized no matter how much you prepare. It’s really awful.

My driving instructor Bobby was great! He was very patient and great at instructing as I have never driven before. Only had 4 sessions and passed my drivers test on my first try! Highly recommend if you need driving lessons !

I don’t like giving 1 star ratings but the staff is NOT friendly. The woman at my booth gave me a hard time about my credit card statement because it didn’t have an, “end date”, which I’m assuming she meant pay period for the statement. The website never said it has to be a full statement, just has to have my name and address on it, which it did. Luckily, she didn’t deny my credit card statement. Also, the DMV website states you can use your paper renewal form as a a point of ID, but apparently they don’t allow that now. That should be updated on the website.
I get that a lot of people come to the DMV not prepared and very clueless, but the staff can be a little nicer.
