“Our First Stay at Harris House
This was our very first time at Harris House (Sept. 30 thru Oct. 3, 2025).
Our room was extremely clean. Even the ceiling fan/vent in the bathroom (which is often overlooked) was very clean as well. Each staff member was friendly, helpful and courteous, both on the phone and in person. The entire facility was very well kept even into the off-season. The pool was open and several guests sat at the umbrella tables reading and snacking. There was ample parking with one-way in and out. HH is in a great location with less than a half block walk to the boardwalk/beach. My sister and I stayed in a queen double which had lots of storage. Bedding was very comfortable and the room was beautifully decorated. The inclusion of a round table with two chairs was a nice convenience. The property was well-lit in the evening hours. If we could make one recommendation it would be that the traditional bathtub would be fitted with safety grab bars or better yet, a walk-in shower. All in all, we were very pleased with Harris House and we hope to return next season, Lord willing.”

“Go for the updated Victorian ambiance with delicious full breakfasts .Go for the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Go for the central and convenient location to all things OC. BUT MOSTLY, go for Sne, the personable, dapper and gracious innkeeper with a wickedly enjoyable sense of humor! Sne knows his guests by name. Try that with hotel chain employees. TV on the fritz? BOOM…fixed. Key card problems? BOOM…fixed. Relax on the wrap around porch, grab a cookie and rock to soothing music. A PERFECT 10 EXPERIENCE that cannot be missed!”
“Had a 7 day, 6 night stay, Wednesday to Tuesday.
Spacious rooms, good internet, comfortable beds, kitchen well stocked and close to food stores and restaurants.
If you want to get fresh towels like bath and hand towels, you need to pay $20. Don't recall having to pay at other locations. Not told at check-in. Waved the fee on a one time basis. No extra charge for pool or kitchen towel change out.”
“Beautiful boutique hotel. Just a few feet from the Boardwalk & beach. Everything was clean, well taken care of. This was our 2nd stay as we had our son with us. We stayed in the suite which had a nice sized living room & a nice kitchen with full siz refrigerator , dishwasher, stove and dishes & utensils. Definitely worth the extra money. Much nicer staying here than in the casinos. No staff in hotel but when we needed more towels and to check the hot water they were very responsive. We’ll stay here again. We loved it, especially the location!”

“My 2 day stay was amazing! Nancy runs an amazing, well-kept hotel that is perfect for vacations! The location is great; it is very close to the beach and boardwalk, yet far enough to enjoy quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the Treehouse Room and it was quite comfortable.
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ocean City! You won't regret it!”

“This was my first time staying here, although my girlfriend has stayed multiple times before. About a week prior to my visit, I called the hotel and spoke with the manager regarding a special request—he was incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, the front desk staff was just as welcoming and helpful. I had a few additional requests during our stay, and each time, they made me feel like a priority. I’ll definitely be returning.”

“It was ok, plain and simple room, king bed, my husband thought it was uncomfortable, TV, 1 chair, but we were only there about 1 1/2 hours before we left for a wedding, came back, slept and left early, a little pricey for what we needed. I mean, we weren't on vacation”

“Our family has been coming to OCNJ for many years to enjoy a week at the Jersey Shore. This was our first stay at Zenneth Manor Inn and it was certainly a vacation we will remember. Lots of great things to praise about the guest experience they have created. Great location close to everything in OCNJ. The Zenneth provides such a charming affordable family environment that gave us lots of opportunity to enjoy conversation, game playing, and fun in the sun! It also helps that Jeff and Hillary are super people to get to know.”

“Late night on the boardwalk and beach with service dog. We stayed at 1332 Wesley Ave. The place was the same as the late 60's until 4-5 years ago. We learned to swim at Flanders outdoor pool. This was one of the only salt water pools I had ever seen until 30+ years later!
We spent the first 20 years of my life in Ocean City first on the north end and then the south end in the in the 50 something streets next to a year round residents named the Worths. They had salt water fish tanks with Seahorses from the Corson inlet. We helped them with the seine for fish .”
“Another Year Staying at Homestead Apart-Hotel. Thank you so much to all of the staff for always welcoming me feel like this is my home away from home. I love the the rooms have kitchens & jacuzzi tubs. The location is convenient to popular shore destinations and rates are fair. They also have an indoor pool open all year and a restaurant on premises. I haven't stayed anywhere else when I work at the shore since I've been staying here. Thank You”

“Great experience if the room keys worked. Found out it was because it was kept near a magnet! Very hard to get a hold of anyone to help us get in when we got locked out twice. They were very nice about it and even offered breakfast certificates.”
“We ordered the prime rib dinner which was excellent and a great value. The dining room was a bit disappointing, loud and extremely casual. The meal came haphazardly, meal then drinks then eventually the salad. The server tried her best but was obviously overwhelmed and the entire place seemed understaffed. We really wanted to love this place, but there's work that needs to be done to bring it to the level of fine dining.”

This was my families second time coming down to OCNJ we stayed at another location last year and found a bug in the room. We were terrified to go back but found this location and it was perfect. Had 2 small issues with tv remote not working and shower door but they had there maintenance guys over within 30 mins to fix the issue that’s what I call service. We will be back! I highly recommend this location”

“The Chelsea tower at Tropicana is a great alternative to the 4 towers within Tropicana. It's as close if not closer to the beach and boardwalk than the Havana & West towers and have nicer rooms. It is attached to Trop by the Skybridge on the 5th floor via elevator in the Trops South tower (buttons in elevator are labeled) or by 2 escalator rides from the casino floor. It is much quieter and they have an outdoor pool/bar right by the Skybridge. Gilchrist Restaurant is in the lobby of the Chelsea, less expensive, good place for breakfast. Can't say anything other than average on service as I did everything via kiosk or phone app.
Rooms: Rooms were clean with a fridge, chair/ottoman and a safe. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean with a walk-in shower.”
“Location, location, location. What a great spot! Located right in the heart of the boardwalk. Walkable to dozens of restaurants. The staff is super friendly, rooms are very clean, and there's always something to do. You can't get bored here! It is pricey, however, such is the case with the location. Definitely worth paying what we paid for this hotel. It has a lot of history and they certainly make use of the space provided for as old as the building is. We booked last minute and took a shot. It didn't disappoint. I loved the parking situation. We were able to park in the lot that borders the hotel. From here, we could quickly grab our sand toys for the kids, chairs for us, and odds and ends and head up to the beach. I noticed a sign about future luxury condos going there?????? I'm not sure how that would have an affect on parking or where we would park. I'll be curious in finding out. I love how it is now. I'll be disappointed if that convenience of parking changes. The only other negative, is a lack of balconies. Only a few rooms have them. It would be nice while at the beach. Over all, excellent experience!”

A staff member recently went above and beyond to help us cancel very last minute I did not get the woman’s name at the front desk, who helped us, but she was so kind, caring and thoughtful of our situation. So grateful for her assistance. Highly recommend this hotel, not only for the accommodating staff, but it’s always so clean and the breakfast is great. When we are back in the area, we will certainly be staying here! Thank you!”
