They'll probably be nervous, the scents are unfamiliar, the surroundings are unfamiliar, most likely more expensive, etc. Instead, do your pet a favor and say goodbye in their place of comfort, surrounded by all the people they love.
We knew the day would come when we'd have to say goodbye to our old boy. It hurts deeply, but it's part of the job as a pet owner.
I am so glad I was able to book Dr. Vaino.
She had neutered my dog back in 2008, and I was lucky to reach her again in 2026 when it came time to say goodbye to my best friend. She was compassionate and as delicate as could be.
He went without pain, and without suffering.

The waiting area was packed - but who really plans a trip to an emergency vet? I cannot express my appreciation for the staff and the compassion they gave. I highly recommend this office.

3085 English Creek Avenue, Egg HarborUnquestionably the best vet I have ever taken my cats to. Dr. Newkirk does standard care and then some. He is a holistic practitioner. His methods range from regular care to extraordinary. He saved the life of my 2 year old Zaza who was diagnosed with cancer, and so young! He put her on a special diet and medicines. This saved her life, and she lived to age 15 when the cancer returned. Thank you Dr. Newkirk, highly recommend.

501 Zion Road, Egg HarborDr. Marina and each and every one of her staff were caring, compassionate and gentle with my cat. They even carried my 16+ pound boy to the exam room for me! He was in a lot of pain a few weeks ago with one of his eyes (he would flinch and pull back if you even gently touched that area of his face) today he is pain free and purring up a storm! If you are looking for a veterinary hospital that truly treats your fur babies like they are their own, look no further….this is the place!

6754 Washington Avenue Ste b, Egg HarborThis place is great. The water for their beers comes from a natural aquifer. The beers we had were all well brewed, but we especially enjoyed the sours, the NEIPA, and the porter. Too many sours these days are overly sweet; these were properly tart, well balanced, and refreshing. Also the naturally sparkling water on tap should not be overlooked, it was delicious. Great palate cleanser between rounds.

3001 Ocean Heights Ave, Egg HarborVisited El Coyote with my son and his family. We were impressed by the quality of the food. It's initially an unassuming little restaurant, but once you are inside and go over the menu you realized you have discovered a hidden gem. The attentiveness of the staff, and their assistance in understanding the menu was welcomed. The feel of Mexico is all around you, making it cozy and inviting. Of note are the empanadas, the lime chicken with avocado and the fajitas. We enjoyed it very much and will be amongst our favorites.
