Staff and service amazing , good prices , fruits , vegetables fresh , anyway everything good , except one think , customer with animals ( dog) inside and I had bad allergy , unfortunately I not going back anymore that location.

There is never any parking when doing a curbside pickup. Everyone parks there and goes inside to shop and no one enforces the parking.

At first I thought I was being given the wrong cold cuts by the deli but it seems like whenever they think they can get away with it they will give you store brand ham/salami/cheese and charge you boars head or whatever brand prices you pick just to be more profitable. I has happen to me so often that I finally witnessed today what they do. Today only 1 employee was on the deli working and I seen her grab the boars head ham but also had a diff brand by her. I thought maybe it was someone else’s cut or something until I got home and realized. This happens to me almost half of the time and it’s ridiculous already. I can notice and taste the difference.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! The lady did not acknowledge the fact that I was there. She was taking so i politely said hi to let her know I was there and she acted like she did not hear me so again I said hello and once more acted like she didnt hear me so the third time I said hello I said what I was there for and she then proceeded to give me attitude with the services she was providing. I suggest that you guys find people who don’t come to work with an attitude or put people at customer service who knows how to mask their own emotions with professionalism please and thank you. I know shoprite well and this isn’t what I was expecting especially not with customer service. Genuine manners is a two way streak.

I am extremely disappointed with the ongoing issues I’ve experienced at the ShopRite in Elizabeth, particularly with the curbside pickup service. The attached photo shows the state of the parking lot as I was pulling in for my order — a sight I’ve encountered more than once, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. The carts are poorly managed, blocking spaces and even making contact with the vehicle to my right, which is simply unacceptable. Additionally, it’s become a common problem for other customers to park in curbside pickup spots, leaving those of us who are there to collect our groceries either waiting for a spot or driving in circles. This lack of organization and consideration is incredibly frustrating. ShopRite in Elizabeth needs to address these issues and improve the overall experience.

The deli department continues to fall short of meeting timelines and then presents an attitude opposed to an opportunity to correct the situation. I’ve previously highlighted this issue and it continues to occur. Today, over an hour of waiting, checked out my purchase, and returned to the counter for my order to still be in queue.

You guys really need to invest in a more suitable public restroom. A restroom sign leading to, what appeared to be "the janitors bathroom", (with 1 toilet) was inundated with elderly patrons. Ridiculous

I come to this shoprite all the time. I usually don't have a problem but today I had a raincheck for an item and they wouldn't grant it. They told me because I got the raincheck from the store in Clark, they couldn't do it. It clearly states on the raincheck that it could be used at any Shoprite. I also confirmed with a Shoprite representative. I am very upset that they gave me a hard time. I won't be coming back to this store anymore.

Do not waste your time ordering via kiosk at the Deli. Terribly slow service ; it’s happened five consecutive times. Even had to walk over to the station after an HOUR I ordered and the co cuts still wasn’t ready. The staff seemed completely lost even tho there was only a few people ahead waiting. Worst part watching the employees move at slow pace. If you’re in a hurry or value your time, avoid this deli at all costs.
Update 10/20/24
HERE WE GO AGAIN! I decided to give this another chance but same issue. How are you gonna have kiosk at the deli station when clearly the staff do not seem to care. Coming back an hour later after ordering and still not completed. Same issue for weeks and weeks.

Never enough open self check out registers. Of the few that are open some only take card no cash. The other problem is the shelf marked prices sometimes do not match the checkout price. Feels like a bait and switch. No body feels like waiting for store personnel to go check the shelf price. Usually they will lie anyway. I've actually had to return to the store and take a picture of the shelf marked price to show customer service I was over charged. Because the floor personnel stated the price was the same as the check out price. I knew they were lying.

They should have more friendly staff, the cashiers look at you as if you were going to steal and have a bad attitude, especially one who every time I go looks at me as if I don't have the money to pay, they make me feel horrible.
