“We've eaten here several times since the beginning of November. We are always greeted warmly by the owner, the waitstaff, and the enticing aroma of the food. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed every item we have ordered. I love the spiciness of the marinara sauce. Last night, I just remembered my leftover Rigato I men Penne. Thank goodness, I remembered before I got in the car. It was that goodness, I remembered my dinner for tonight! I experimented, which I rarely did, and shared the huge appetizer of stuffed artichoke with my husband, a healthy and perfectly seasoned choice. I told the owner I wish they had a less filling dessert selection, baking cookies! which most Italian restaurants do not. She said she planned to start cookies and add them to the menu. My husband has tried several of their homemade desserts and never leaves a crumb. We were not surprised to learn Al Dente has many regulars! The portions are large, and the pasta is boiled as long as it should be. We have brought friends there, and they felt the same way. We especially like that are never rushed. “I must say, upon arriving, one of the gentlemen immediately took care of me and directed me to where Dawn's office is located. Since Dawn was busy taking care of a couple, I was able to speak to Greg, who took all of my information and was able to assist with all of my inquiries. Greg was extremely helpful.”

“I have passed by many times but never had an occasion where u til last night. I was pleasantly surprised once I stepped inside because the outside is rather plain and doesn't hint of the tasteful and elegant inside. The front door opens to a lovely atrium area adorned with a huge flower arrangement in an urn with a bar and seating area. It is lovely tan and brown marble with bronze lighting fixtures and comfortable and booth seating. The food was done very very well. In stark contrast to a wedding I went to at a different well known catering hall a few weekends ago, the buffet was on point. The fried calamari was brought out small trays at a time often so that it remained crispy on the buffet. The cheese was delicious and actually tasted like cheese. The chicken franchise was tasty of lemons and butter and not overdone or mushy. The coating wasn't falling off in a wet heap like we sometimes see. The salads were fresh and delicious. The roasted peppers were certainly made in house because they had roasted flavor with brown grill marks and the garlic slices tasted like freshly sauced garlic. The drinks were on point. The bartender assured me she could make a good old fashioned, and indeed she did! I highly recommend this place”

“MO’s Banquet Hall is top notch! I would recommend this hall to anyone looking for a place to throw a party. Max is amazing and very helpful made my daughter’s Sweet 16 run smoothly and took the stress off of me and I was able to enjoy the night. The bartenders were amazing no complaints the photographer and videographer captured beautiful pictures and so attentive all night! If you are looking for a place this is it a one stop shop..Max again thank you for your service and your dedication and for making my daughter’s Sweet 16 a night we won’t ever forget!”

“My husband and I had our wedding here in February 2024. It was exactly what we wanted and our family and friends were blown away. The staff were so helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. We loved all the food and the cocktail hour was awesome. Our guests are still talking about it. This was the first venue we ever saw and the second we walked in the venue we instantly knew it was the one and we did not look anywhere else. The venue is beautiful. “My experience at the restaurant was a bit overwhelming due to the noise and crowded atmosphere, especially on a Friday night with live music. Despite the tight arrangement of tables making it difficult to move around, the food and service were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dish with pasta and plan on returning for it. My friends also loved their salmon dishes and couldn't stop raving about how delicious it was. Overall, while the ambiance was not to my liking, the quality of the food and service made up for it.”

“I recently hosted a baby shower/gender reveal at The Women’s Club of Glen Ridge and I’m so happy with our choice of venue. Elizabeth was so accommodating and open to all of my ideas for the event. She was always available and helpful from the day we toured until the day of the event. We were able to set up the day before because the venue was not hosting anything the day before my event. It doesn’t get better than that. When we went to set up is when I met Luis. He is marvelous. He was like 10 people in 1. Whatever we needed he made it happen. And what he didn’t have he found a way to get it. I can’t wait to book here again and work with these wonderful people and their beautiful venue. Luis is truly an angel and made our day perfect.”

“Macaluso's is such an amazing venue! Before I even talk about the amazing staff let me tell you about their INCREDIBLE food. Whenever I see that I am photographing a wedding at Macaluso's I make sure to not eat any breakfast or snacks so I can fully enjoy their food!As a wedding photographer it is super important for me to work at a venue that has scenic areas for great photos of my couples and Macaluso's does not disappoint in that category at all (see attached photos). In addition, their staff is super friendly and willing to help with anything!I can't recommend this venue enough if you are looking for a great place to host your wedding or event!”

And the view! Even if you can’t get a window table ( they book up fast) the windows are floor to ceiling so all tables have natural light and a view. The seasons is one of the top venues in New Jersey and an absolute treat to photograph a wedding at!As a wedding photographer it is super important to work at a venue that has scenic opportunities so that may couples don't have to find an outside park somewhere to do their photos. The Seasons does not disappoint with that! They have beautiful waterfalls, a gorgeous garden area and an amazing indoor staircase! “My spouse and I looked at around 11 other venues, and none come close to what you get at The Estate at Florentine Gardens. First off, the whole venue is GORGEOUS, with a beautiful, freshly made ceremony room, cozy but classy cocktail room, and a spectacular elegant ballroom for your reception. Even the hallways, groomsmen suite, and the bridal suites are amazing - they're big, stunning and are perfect for getting ready. If you're considering a winter or summer wedding, this venue is perfect. Even you're in the summer and it gets rained out, you'll still have a picture-perfect ceremony room, so really there is no need to worry. We did our wedding just a week ago and it was amazing!Not only does this venue wow your guests in terms of how it looks, but the staff are INCREDIBLE. We worked with Samantha (our event consultant), Jeffery (our maître d'), Monica (our bridal attendant), Max (helped with the groomsmen) Sal (entertainment services), DJ Tony Gia, and Shar (videographer). From day 1, Samantha was always enthusiastic and patient about our many many many questions that we asked throughout the whole entire year before our wedding. She was a joy to work with! Sal was always ready to provide us good song selections and help us craft our package for what we would like to have (lighting, videography, DJ, sparkler towers photo booth, ceremony music, and so much more). DJ Tony Gia was the best - he kept our dance floor up and dancing the whole night and was an amazing MC. Sal's team of videographers were also outstanding and blew our guests away. They were able to catch everything live and even produce an amazing wrap-up video to display at the end of the night.Our friends and families members who have been to so many weddings before said that our wedding was the best wedding that they have ever been to, and we know that it's because The Estate at Florentine Gardens is 1. beautiful, 2. provides the highest quality of service, and 3. is truly working to ensure your day goes smoothly, and 4. the food is so DELICIOUS!! “I HIGHLY recommend RAIN. My daughter’s bat mitzvah was epic. Scott and Miriam covered every detail making it so easy and simple to throw a smooth and fun event. The DJ, emcee and dancers were incredible and had the whole crowd - from ages 2 to 52 dancing for the Bat Mitzvah girl- they just get it! And the space is so easy to customize to your own look. I'd recommend valet parking for events with sitting guests in the future.Parking: There was plenty of parking. However, they had no valet, and I prefer valet parking.Kid-friendliness: Yes, they were kids friendly. The waitresses were very professional.”

Beware of the railing I'm front of the seats in the first row of the mezzanine, however. It blocks the audience's view of the front part of the stage. “went to see "Top Gun: Maverick" on Saturday. This was my first time in a modern theater in over 30+ yrs. It was a very pleasant experience. The tilt back seats with the adjustment controls was by far the most comfortable theatre experience I've ever had. I would definitely come back for the right movie. The only negative was having to watch the 4 or 5 clips of upcoming movies beforehand, all of which I thought were crappy. Top Gun was great.14 Jan 24. Went to see "The Beekeeper" but skipped all of the up coming movie clips this time. We had reserve seats and sat in the center of the last row. Seats were very comfortable as last time and I could see it would be very easy to fall asleep if your movie was boring. No complaints, excellent movie experience”

“We came for a private event. The service was quick even though we were late. The ceviche was the one thing I didn’t like. The empanadas and skirt steak skewers were delicious. The mango butter for bread as well. I had the fillet Mignon and others had the skirt steak. Both of the meats were tender and tasty. The 4 leches cake was well made. Many times, in other places, the cake is lacking the “leche” aspect. The service for the food was excellent. Not so much for any other request. They had to be reminded to bring simple things like soda or steak knives. At the end of the evening we were still waiting on 2 sodas. This place is a lounge late Saturday nights as well. In the warmer months they have tables outside for lunch and dinner and you can appreciate the spectacular view of the New York City.All in all, I would come back.”
