“I've been getting my taxes done at the Woodside Branch with Stella for six years and always found her services to be reliable and professional. She does my taxes for me since I am not by any means a tax pro, she's thorough and gets me a good refund. I've never had an issue with H&R Block until this past week when I had a time sensitive billing matter to deal with regarding my taxes. Not only could I not get a hold of her or her office because that branch was closed, but the people I have talked to, Margaretta from the Rego Park Branch and Bert from the Jamaica branch have proven themselves unreliable. At first there was no issue, I sent them the needed documents, they claimed they uploaded it to my H&R Account, having been unable to access this information I have emailed them three times where to access it, and it has been crickets on their end. From this experience, I gather H&R Block is only reliable during tax season. And if you are not a tax pro yourself and have an issue and it isn't tax season, you are pretty much screwed and left to pay a much larger bill and figure every complicated financial thing out on your own. And that is not right. As a tax pro service, you should be providing reliable service throughout the year so we clients aren't left to our own device and possibly paying much their tax bills then we should be paying.”
