Purchased a pair of Hokas and was told when I purchased them if I joined the REI membership then I could return them no questions asked if I was unhappy with them. After 5 months of wearing them, they started to fall apart - the rubber on the soles were breaking off. I brought them in and they were rudely denied. I just wanted to exchange them for a new pair. The manager rudely stated if I was unhappy with the REI membership she would “be happy” to cancel it and make sure I didn’t get my five months worth of 10% back. If I ever do go to an REI again, it will not be this one. Purchase from Hoka directly.

Absolutely done with this location. The sales person asked me to leave 15 mins before the store closed. That level of customer service is ridiculously bad.I was running in real quick to buy $110 bike pedals, but 15 mins wasn't enough time for them to walk into the back and get them.

I’ve been shopping at rei for YEARS and when I first started getting into hiking more I valued the staffs help so much because I didn’t know what I needed. With that said now that I’m more experienced I dread coming into the store . Staff assumes your inexperienced and it can be insulting some of the questions they are asking and advice they give .. I don’t come in for a class every time I walk in the store . I can’t look at anything without being asked if I need help and then a staff member hovering over me or wanting to have a conversation. Sometimes people just need a minute to check out new merchandise themselves and if they have questions they will ask . I would even leave that section just to be approached by another representative in another section and have to go through the same experience again . I think the store needs to instal “ request help “ buttons so customers can shop around and not be afraid to be stared at the entire time . The shoe department is always backed up and busy .. staff should assist back there until a button goes off for help just saying .Btw this is of no insult to the staff as they all are doing their best to do a great job .. I can tell this is a store policy because it happens at every rei . With that said it’s gotta change . I’m starting to order only what I need online and shopping less because I dread walking inside .

Love my kayak! Be sure to bring assistance and straps if you plan to purchase and haul a kayak. The store workers are not insured to assist a buyer with ensuring safe strapping to a vehicle.

I went today for the first time with my boyfriend. We both became members and we cannot wait to begin our hiking journeys! Robert, Christopher, Lucas and a few other workers were incredibly helpful! Robert was great with explaining the store, and he told us the top 10 things to be prepared for what hiking! He directed us over to Lucas in the shoe department and we got incredibly comfortable boots. Chris helped us fit our hiking backpacks and had some helpful tips with water and food during the hike. These people truly want the best for their customers. They even have a wall of customers who have taken photos from their adventures! I'm so happy to be apart of this family.

Ordered online for a Thule Motion XT XL for my Tesla Model Y. Staff was very friendly and even helped me to push and load the roof box into my car.

Yesterday I came in for the first time and left a new customer. I don't think there are enough words to convey the kind of help and guidance we received. Robert took care of us and we couldn't be any happier. Sure most employees probably know the general products but Robert had passion, knowledge and genuine interest in what we needed. He literally sold us on the store and the company. We signed up and can't wait to keep planning our adventure.

Wow what a store. My friend is going on an international bike trip and need to get everything from bike shorts, shoes, and travel bag. They had it all. And the service was incredible. We had to go to king of Prussia to pick up the right size shoe. The sales professional in New Jersey.made sure the shoe size was available and wrote down everything we would need to get that item once we got to the store.THE KING OF PRUSSIA store was just as incredible. The sales associates are attentive, helpful and friendly. Love love love this company. The quality of items they sell are top notch at a good value.

The prices were Beyond outrageous. I love shopping for camping stuff but here it wasn’t any fun because of the prices. A folding chair I got somewhere else for $20 was $149.99. An air pillow I got at bass pro shop for $30 was around $80 here. A hammock just material started around $80. I grabbed mine at target for $20. You should be ashamed of yourself for those prices.

Rei is the best ran store imo at least the one in Marlton/Voorhees. I came in to buy a kite for my son and I to fly because Charles loved the cheap plastic one we got. Even though it was cheap we still had a ball on easter, problem was I had to do a lot of running just to keep the kite aflying. Any how I go in there and was instantly sidetracted looking at the hiking shoes and this splendid elderly woman approached me and asked what I was looking for and I said I do roofing and gutters and I would like to find a more durable and lasting shoe. I picked one the size fit but wasn't great and they didn't have the next size up but the shoe was still really comfortable just slightly annoying. She wasn't having it she said listen I don't think it fits you, don't buy it?!? I was like say what your not trying to sell me kudos ? ? ?. Anyways we went through a couple more shoes and I fell in love with the ankle shoe style of the original boot that they didn't have my size in. I proceeded to order the original boot in the right size and buy the other pair I fell in love with. Then I said hey I saw you guys have kites here and she's like no we don't. I said dang that's why I came here it showed it online lol. She's said wait let me check low and behold we do. We'll the saying goes you learn something every day she said. Then I go grab a kite see some nice sunglasses and ran over to check them out grabbed a pair then at the register I felt so great and finally realized how great shopping therapy really is. Then I looked over and saw some nice clothes but then I got this weird feeling no ones in the store and I am surrounded by employees so I asked what time does the store close? 20 minutes ago we all bust out laughing. Moral of the story I love Rei

Excellent selection for multiple sports and activities. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for an associate that's really knowledgeable about the product you want to buy, but I've always felt like it's worth it.

I had an extremely pleasant experience both dropping off and picking up my skis and bindings that I had mounted. The staff went above and beyond to get my skis in spec when the boots were found to be slightly incompatible with the bindings. They tested, and adjusted the specs until they deemed the boots and bindings to be functional and safe. I will be returning here for all my ski related inquires and services, thanks Matt and Rick!
