“Great place to get fit, even for those who do not imagine themselves to be the crossfit types! All the classes here are upbeat, intense, and honestly fun. Each day's workout is totally different which keeps things fresh. Justin and all the coaches are there to ensure you can do the workouts safely and effectively, always offering suggestions of how to scale down movements that are too complex or difficult (for now). Really diverse group of people here, all ages and fitness experience. This place is the best!”

“I joined F45 South Edison Feb this year and absolutely love it. I needed a challenging, motivating, group-style workout regimen and a sense of accountability so i show up whether i feel like it or not, and f45 totally provides this. The coaches are super knowledgeable and supportive during the entire workout. Coach Gabe and rly all the coaches are amazing - they stay engaged and give you tips on improving form and technique. I love how it's a different combination of workouts each time. The group atmosphere of like-minded people, detailed coaching, and pump-up music always pushes you to go hard and get better. Really great place.”

“I have so much love for this gym and the whole staff! The classes are great, the fitness equipment is awesome and the support and motivation is unmatched in comparison to any gym I have ever been to. Larissa in at the front desk is incredible - she care about the members joining, their input, and making sure the membership you get is the best one to help you meet your personal fitness goals! The Muay Thai classes are incredible and I can't wait to get back to it once I heal from my back injury. B52 Muay Thai - Love you, fam!”

“As a women’s health and wellness club at Rutgers, New Brunswick, we’re always looking for workouts that truly challenge us, and CKO absolutely delivers!
From the moment we walk in, the energy is unmatched. Coach Kevin was motivating, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping everyone feel strong and confident. Every workout is different, which keeps things exciting and pushes us out of our comfort zones in the best way possible.
Our members LOVE the burn 🔥It’s the perfect balance of challenging and fun, and the supportive atmosphere makes it easy for everyone—no matter their fitness level—to feel welcome.
CKO has quickly become one of our favorite ways to train together, bond as a club, and prioritize both physical and mental wellness. Highly recommend to any student organization or group looking to level up their fitness game!”

“Joining OTF has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. I’ve tried MAX, Crossfit, hot yoga, the gym, you name it, but OTF has been the best fit for me. It’s the perfect workout for weight loss and gains. I love going to Grace and Hayden classes. The staff are wonderful and I can’t wait to see where the rest of my journey here takes me :)”
“Amazing Place great people

“I have both of my kids enrolled at Swimming Splash Academy, and I want to give a big shout‑out to Miss Karen and Miss Kayla. I have seen significant improvement in my kids’ swimming skills, including their confidence with different strokes.
Miss Karen consistently goes the extra mile to ensure each child understands and follows instructions. If a child is having difficulty understanding, she patiently demonstrates the technique and makes sure the child is able to follow along correctly. Her dedication truly makes a difference.
The facility itself is excellent—the pool is always clean, there are multiple lifeguards on duty, and the shower rooms are well‑maintained and spotless.
I would definitely recommend Splash Academy to other parents who are looking for quality swimming instruction in a safe, clean, and supportive environment.”
“My husband and I have been going here for over a year now and it’s been an amazing experience! We have progressed significantly since we started. We feel stronger and much more active! The staff have been great and very supportive. Thank you!”

“I’ve been training here for almost 2 years now, and it’s truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had never done CrossFit or lifted weights before joining, so I was definitely a bit nervous at first — but the community here is incredibly welcoming and inclusive, and all the coaches are truly amazing. A special shoutout to Coach Joe, who was so attentive and supportive when everything was new and unfamiliar to me — his guidance really helped me build confidence and improve safely.
The programming is excellent — always challenging but adaptable, and it keeps things interesting. They also offer a running class, which completely transformed my relationship with running. Huge cheer for Coach Nora for helping me fix my form and actually start enjoying running (something I never thought I'd say!)”

“This is an absolutely great place for kids and families. Conveniently located in a small shopping center with plenty of parking, it is a bright, airy place decorated with primary colors and full of opportunities for the little ones to work off their energy in a safe, positive environment. My daughter-in-law and 3-year-old granddaughter are spending this year at Princeton, and my daughter-in-law took out a membership here. My granddaughter attends a one-hour tumbling class on a weekday morning, and a 1-hour pass to let a child stay after the class is also available. Plenty of kid-safe activities are available, including, slides, jumping surfaces, kid-safe balancing beams, and safe climbing surfaces, as well as supervised activities. We had my granddaughter's birthday party here, and she and all her little friends had a wonderful time. Two staff members are provided for each party, and I can't say enough about the friendliness and enthusiasm of Ryan, who was the main party host. This is a wonderful place, and if you are spending time in Princeton and have small children, definitely something to look into.”

“I vehemently disagree with the sentiment shared below. Everything mentioned is subjective, and thus, should not be taken literally. I have been a member of this gym for ~4 years and have had the opposite feeling. The owners are courteous, caring, and passionate. For example, one time, I needed a specific cable attachment. The next time I came in, it was ordered. I never asked for it, but me mentioning it in passing was taken seriously enough for them to order this item.
Moreover, the badge not working is not a gym system issue. The member likely had a faulty badge. It is his responsibility to approach the owners to ask for a new one. I have entered the gym as late as 2 am and have had no issues. When I forgot my badge, the phone was answered immediately and I was giving step by step instructions to enter.
Finally, this gym is promoted as a warehouse style, hardcore gym. I along with my friends appreciate the hot weather because it allows us to get a better pump/workout, and allows us to build more resilience. The one fan is enormous covering almost 3/4th of the ceilings surface area and provides more than enough ventilation.
Diesel is the best gym i have been to, and has an excellent community - which is due to the passion, hard-work, and love the owners put into it.”
“Such a great gym! Would 100% go here if we lived in the area and will definitely be back for drop ins. Thank you Billy for building a CrossFit gym that is everything CrossFit is supposed to be.”

“CrossFit Toy Box is a truly special place. The community is warm and friendly, and the camaraderie and support are incredible. John and all the coaches are very knowledgeable and always know how to adapt the workouts to your abilities, so you feel safe, encouraged, and challenged every time. The programming is excellent, and before you know it you’re excited to come back and even bring your whole family—kids and adults of all ages.”
“Stellar local gym. The owner, Gary, is very sweet and really cares about people & his facility. It has all the equipment you'd need and it's never crowded so I've never had to wait in a line for something I've wanted to use. The equipment and decor all share a unified retro aesthetic. Everything is kept extremely clean - I see the owner cleaning basically every night. This all leads to the atmosphere of this gym being very calming, perfect if you favor a quiet relaxing workout experience. Lots of mirrors and high windows letting in natural light. I just can't imagine using a crowded noisy commercial gym after frequenting this place. All the patrons are very friendly. Besides weights, there are cardio machines, a martial arts dojo with classes offered, personal trainers, spin bikes, and more. I've been coming here over a year now and it's become my new happy place.”

“I was driving by a year ago, headed home from grabbing a bunch of sod for my yard and I saw the gym. There were people running outside and other inside doing power cleans. Curious, I stopped and went in to inquire. I’m a former college athlete, and a veteran who’s tried to stay in shape. I was at the regular gym about 3x a week and running outside once per week. I’ve always been a traditional lifter, never into CrossFit even though a lot of folks I deployed with were. As soon as I walked in, you could feel the community and love. I could also immediately see fitness. It’s the gym so, yeah, naturally you’d see it, but this was different. CrossFit training is basically Olympic style, so their bodies look better than a lot of the most fit people who do traditional training. Even though I was a random inquiring about pricing, it was all love and they made me feel welcomed immediately. I did the free class to see how it was, and was blown away. The workouts were grueling, yet fun. It was addicting knowing I went so hard and was challenged. The coaches make sure everyone works within their limits and pace, while nudging and getting the most out of each person. It was balanced. Half strength, half conditioning, and always full body. A litany of stretches and warmup before, and again at the conclusion of the class. I signed up immediately for 12 classes per month, but was hooked and had to increase to unlimited. My wife and I both attend - and she’s always been a pilates gal. Her loving it as well was yet another sign of the quality and care. It’s a great feeling of having a community you’re part of pushing you to live a healthy lifestyle across the board. The coaches are knowledgeable, caring and fully invested in YOU. I feel an innate closeness with each as well as with my teammates I workout with. The balance of programming weekly is amazing too - Sundays & Wednesdays are “Engine” days which is a lot of conditioning and burned calories. Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday are “Hybrid” days which are always balanced, half conditioning, half strength straining. Those are always tough but balanced. Thursdays are “Power” which is strength!!! And you can count on every workout including core and abs somewhere somehow. It’s so comprehensive you’ll see results pretty quickly. The gym also partners with an outstanding meal prep service if you need help building a healthy diet and are too busy to cook or count the calories and macro/micro. And if the classes aren’t enough - you can request and pay for personal training with any of the coaches which’ll elevate you even more. It’s truly a world-class staff and experience. You start stacking the days and making friends while watching the results….truly a wonderful feeling. The gym has so many collaborations with other fitness communities, charities to give back, and other organizations that share the wonderful values and passions of Fortitude. Whatever niche of fitness you’re into - Fortitude has people there into it; from CrossFit like Hyrox, to the marathon and half marathon runners, to the power lifters, and competition people. I’m constantly pushed to become better, stronger, and healthier by classmates and coaches alike. I’m nearly back at my size from undergrad playing days. I’m glad my wife encouraged me that day we were driving by to go in. I cannot recommend Fortitude enough.”

“This was an immensely positive experience. Workout classes are always tough, and Locomotion's HIIT circuit was. But the people in the gym were (1) locked in during the workouts, (2) inviting and encouraging during the breaks, and (3) and people stayed around for a little bit to chat after the workout ended. Whether they knew each other before or after, the experience felt non-judgmental, supportive and motivating. This was the epitome of a tremendous fitness group and community. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Princeton, and I highly recommend others to give it a try as well.”
“I’ve been really impressed with this gym. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the facility is consistently clean every time I’m there. The new equipment is a great addition, and I’m really looking forward to the upcoming expansion.
Another thing I appreciate is the overall vibe—most of the customers are friendly, and there’s no attitude or ego. Lots of head nods, and smiles, which makes the environment feel comfortable and positive. Overall, a great place to work out and stay motivated.”

“Love the convenient location. I like everything about Retro Fitness. The place is kept clean; the equipment is always in good working order. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I will recommend it to all my friends.”
“A candid assessment from someone who was there nearly every day for 15+ years. If you believe you'll benefit from working out with a personal trainer, this is the place to be. Based on observation and conversation, the trainers are knowledgeable, dedicated, and diligent. It's also a good gym for anyone needing a pool, child care, classes, or other extras. The fitness center is well-managed, clean, overall a very good place.
However, if you are a veteran gym-goer and just want a place to throw around some weights and work out on machines, I would definitely recommend that you look elsewhere. There's generally one of each machine and quite frequently someone is sitting on it scrolling on their phone between sets. Of course, you can ask to work in and share the machine, which most people will do, albeit sometimes grudgingly. A few cranky souls actually refuse, apparently believing that machine belongs to them. Also, a trainer and client will be often be on a machine for 5 minutes or more, chatting between sets. I tried to avoid asking them to share because that is the trainer's source of income.
I am admittedly a bit of an obsessive nut when it comes to following what I deem good gym etiquette and would never sit on a machine for five seconds. So I wound up getting annoyed (and annoying others) a few times each workout. I finally moved to a gym that is larger (and cheaper) and has a few varieties of each machine. People still sit there and scroll - it is 2026, after all - but it's always easy to find another of the same machine. I miss the trainers and some of the fellow gym-goers at PFW, but the annoyance factor has been almost totally eliminated.
That's one person's view, for what it's worth.”
“Monica is well versed in the different schools of Yoga and is able to very effectively leverage the various schools of yoga to my needs. She emphasizes the need to breathe correctly as she gradually graduates you to more advanced poses. Would strongly recommend a personal class for the maximum benefit”
“Gym is not clean and the sanitizer is water. Every time I leave feeling dirty no matter how much I use on the equipment. Also the GM is miserable, mean to customers and will probably call me to yell at me about this review. The only reason I keep my membership is because of Adnan the yoga instructor who is amazing.”

“I have been going here for at least 2 years. It is a great gym. They are always trying to make it a better place. Installing new machines (and deadlift mats). Plenty of racks for free weights. The sauna, while small, is efficient. Only time I was annoyed was with their cancel policy on my yearly membership id kept going until i had to go to college. I Didn't like that they needed a 1 month notice and I ended up paying for a month I wasn't here but I should've expected that with a longterm membership. Overall a great gym for all levels.”
“I love the non fluff gym. Though basic, it meets the needs of a serious workout. Though small, it has all the necessary equipment, which never gets too crowded. I have never waited for equipment. Friendly staff and clean environment and affordable.”
“I have had a very pleasant and encouraging experience at this Somerset center of Fitness Factory starting with Mason , the young receptionist’s welcoming smile to The amazing talented physical trainer Luis Rodriguez .
Luis has had vast expensive training himself as a body builder as well as motivating others to be in their best form possible.
He is always punctual, adjusting to clients schedules, and an expert at in use of different machines, to strengthen the muscles, without aggravating the joints.”
