“I go to both Dollar Tree and Dollar General. I can't figure out for the life of me why there are two dollar stores within such a close proximity in Jackson but I digress. Dollar Tree has cheaper prices for certain items such as greeting/holiday/birthday cards. They also have a lot more items in the arts and crafts department alongside Dollar Tree carrying some different items altogether. All the employees that I have encountered are very friendly and helpful.”

“I like going there to people are friendly that work there and I think they deserve a raise for what they got to deal with and the people they have to do with I go there whenever I need anything and 10 out of one I usually find what I need thank you again and I will be going back”

“All the $1 stores have now become $1.25 stores but that’s not the individual stores fault- it’s the chain. I remember when 99cent stores opened all over Brooklyn but NOTHING was 99cents!I enjoy this store because the cashier are always very nice, there’s parking and depending on the season & when they get shipments in - it’s can be a REAL HIT! with great deals & you can find many things under a $1.25! Individual Store Locations like this one really don’t have a say over what is shipped to them to have in stock. So the past year… they haven’t had basic oatmeal. During the Pandemic, they didn’t have large popsicle sticks. Not the end of the world. I’d suggest always stop in & see what they have especially for holiday decor scores!”

“I come in Dollar General frequently. I absolutely love the lower prices on brand name items. I always have the DG app handy for any additional savings for additional savings. My one main complaint is that I do not like how a lot of times there are shipment carts blocking the entrance to the aisles. Others have stated that the employees are on their phones all the time and I have noticed that too. However, I have seen this at a lot of different places of employment nowadays so for me it's par for the course. Otherwise, I personally do not have any gripes about this location or store.”

“I have been to many many Dollar Tree locations. Dollar Tree hopping has saved me a lot of money, especially with organizational items. Today was my first time at this new location. Everything was neat, clean and well stocked. The cashier, Kathy, was wonderful. She was friendly and very helpful, especially when she ran out to my car with my debit card that I left. Lol Much thanks Kathy! I will see you again.”

“I visit this Dollar General pretty much every day. Staff are always kind and helpful. I need to acknowledge Rebecca in particular for really going out of her way to greet my daughter and I each time we shop. Rebecca is so friendly and has been super sweet to my daughter. She is so hardworking and knows the store inside and out. I haven't had a question yet that she hasn't answered immediately. Very grateful to have such a welcoming, convenient neighborhood store.”

“I have had a long career which includes David's bridal where I got my start and muscles. Various ages of women that left due to retirement. Now at dollar general I have earned my keep created better bonds with my Co workers all of them. And we work hard regardless of our pay because we are once again all nearing retirement or just starting ? ????”

“100% better shopping experience at this store, than I didn't even get to have at the Freehold store! All thanks to all the welcoming employees at this store. Wish I could say the same for the freehold store but heck "NO" sadly all due to one very rude mistreating customers employee! He probably should not be working in the retail industry at all because he clearly doesn't know how to provide customer service by properly communicating & interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience, adapt to different customer interactions and situations, promoting & selling products and/or services. Nevertheless, thank you to all the lovely employees at the Howell dollar tree for welcoming me in with open arms and providing such great customer service. I surely had a much better experience here at this store than the freehold!! I got my greeting cards even more than orginally was looking for along with some other get finds here at this dollar tree. Ownership if your reading this you may want to evaluate your hiring manager at the freehold store because he/she is letting bad candidates slip through the cracks and hiring them. Also, a. apology would be appropriate and very well treated but I won't count on it, see ya all again soon at the Howell dollar tree your the best!”
