“First time traveling into The Village Sweet Shoppe ( 2 days before VDay ). It was first thing in the morning so it wasnt crazy. The lady helping me was great, explained the pricing and about how many pieces that tends to be per package. After helping me for about 15 min my experience just got better and better. What a great team of Fran, Debbie, and the Lady helping ( so sorry i missed her name, but she was great ) to just go waaaaayyyy above and beyond what they needed to do. Ill be sure to make it my go to stop for all my special chocolate needs. Even have great selections for the kids that will most likely make me return sooner!!”

“I have been at both Chocolate Shops in Smithville, hands down the chocolate here was much better, it didn't have extreme sugar and the person behind the counter was really lovely!!!!
After being at both places, this is the one I will come back to.”

“Went here while on vacation! Candy in the picture was $53 my girlfriend and I each got one. It’s awesome because you can pick whatever you want and blend however you like. They have an abundance of options. They also have some retro candy and the viral candy which is nice! They have something for every audience. Wasn’t too crowded, service was good, in and out fast and back out on the boardwalk quickly!”

“This is best taffy I’ve ever had. Much respect for making candy for 140 years! Never been to Atlantic City but I got a hook up. My favorite is peanut butter, chocolate, butter rum and the filled ones PB&j. I wish you had a peanut butter banana? you might have it but I’ve never had it someone shops for me. I always share thanks for making it with love.”

“Very friendly & respectful staff. I found this hidden gem ? on the Atlantic ave. It has little bit everything and prices are reasonable as well. When I m back in AC again, I will visit again.”

“The candy store ? is located on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It is part of the Bally's Hotel and Casino. Joseph Fralinger started selling salt water taffy in 1884. He developed 25 flavors and began the use of the traditional tin used for its packaging. They have multiple locations. Nice chocolates ?, fudge and macaroons are also available.”
