“We are two disabled senior citizens who enjoy the call in and curbside pick up. We cannot lift anything and they are so accommodating there when you are at curbside simply call and tell them you were there and before you can blink they are putting all your purchases In your car at no charge. The owner is fabulous and always a gentleman to deal with when looking for something special. And the sales people who bring out your items are always accommodating and pleasant we would never go anywhere else! ?? ????”

“Nice place with a selection of essentials and fun items. Some stuff I wouldn't buy for 5 dollars, the store doesn't stay true to its name as it once did before. But I would admit it's a good staple to get somewhat decent stuff. Cool neat stuff in here though, especially for college students. Very glad they got some collectible items in there too.”

“Very nice general store, they have a wide variety of snacks and drinks. I got Skittles gummy candies for only approximately $3 which is a very good deal. However, I will say this: the soap in the restroom wasn't that great. It was way too runny. And they should be using hand dryers, not paper towels. Also, to those of you out there leaving bad reviews about the employees saying that they hate their jobs, it's not their fault that they hate their jobs. As the saying goes, you take what you can get.”

“I saw on previous reviews that the ac was out of commission and store was closed. Good news! It’s back on and store is open. This store has such a variety of products. There is a number of things I didn’t even expect to see. Needless to say, I went out with more items that I had originally planned to purchase. An extra bonus is the young man that was working when my husband and I were in the store. He was so very helpful, kind, and friendly. He actually seemed like he liked his job. Will be back to shop here for incidentals. Some prices are a little lower, some not, however, it is in a very convenient location. It’s not normal that I would give a store such as this five stars, but the products combined with the service moved me to do so.”

“I always loved Dollar General. I lived in the Galloway area and I used to go there all the time. I have since moved to Egg Harbor Township. There’s two Dollar General locations in EHT, less than 15 minutes from my house. But I don’t like them as much as the one in Galloway. Often, I will take the trip to Dollar General in Galloway, especially if I’m gonna be in that area. It takes about 18 minutes from my house and is not a far drive. The Galloway location is larger than most and it’s very well organized. It is not a dollar store, but most of the items are cheap compared to the major stores and supermarkets. Everything has a place and the aisles are clearly marked. They really do have the best prices on laundry items, dish soap and beauty items. They also have many small departments such as bathroom, and kitchen, some lamps, automotive, greeting cards, school and craft items. They also have home decor and storage containers. A must have for the home. All at a great price. My only issue is that this location are promoting too many dollar items, not worthy of General Dollar’s standards. They now have a whole, dedicated dollar aisle. I purposely go to this Dollar General instead of the Dollar Tree. It’s just filled with cheap stuff that doesn’t work or is inefficient. Dollar General used to have the best generic bleach. It was comparable to Clorox and it was cheaper. Last time I was there, I looked all around for it, and they only had the $1 bleach. I was forced to buy it because of time constraints. Naturally, the bleach didn’t work well with my whites. That’s why I gave this location four stars. The only thing I get at dollar tree is my hangers for my clothes. They have good ones for a good price, but most of my shopping is done at Dollar General in Galloway. It’s located on Fifth Avenue, across the street from Wawa. They have some good prices and brand names. Just don’t lower your standards, Dollar General! I also wanted to mention there’s a $5 off coupon, when you spend $25 on Saturdays. You can download the digital on the app or ask them at the register for a paper coupon.”
“This is a brand new store. Nice ,clean,helpful. It gets the name brand stuff sold out quicker being in the location it's at. Downside,when you go for a particular item they could be out. But on the plus side being newer and the inventory moves faster you don't have to worry about expired products because of the fast refill stock time.”
