“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. My beautiful fur baby, Romy, sadly passed away a few months ago at age 17 and it was heartbreaking to let him go, but I knew he would be at peace and not in pain anymore. Dr. Rozenbaum and the staff were very caring, kind-hearted, empathetic and compassionate. “This is your go to clinic. I called and they got me scheduled for an appointment in 45 minutes. They are kind, caring, and nurturing. Dr. Chan is very humble and gentle. My kitty doesn’t usually prefer men, but Duncan very much approved of him. Didn’t get the best news today, but the staff handled his results with care and made me feel like my baby was in good hands. Highly recommend!”
“My dog Monty got scratched by a cat during our morning walk and so I ran him to this vet (nearest one open). Despite there not being any available appointments, they were able to get a technician to see my dog immediately.

“Highly recommend Valley Animal Hospital. Have been going there for about five years since I had my first puppy. Dr. Thompson is our main vet and she is always nothing short of phenomenal, always makes us feel welcome, and is receptive to our needs. Dr. Henderson is a fantastic vet and surgeon who supported us while my pup required surgery for a tumor. The staff is always efficient and friendly. The price is reasonable as they are comprehensive with everything they do. Overall, a great experience. I am happy to bring my new puppy there to receive care.”

“My family has been bringing our dogs to this practice for many years and after a few bad experiences with vets in NYC, I immediately switched to them and now my Frenchie is almost 12 years old! The staff is always amazing and helpful. Dr. Glennon and Dr. Corrao are the most compassionate, knowledgeable and caring doctors. They truly care about the well-being of your pet and provide you with all of the information and options, so you can work together and make an informed decision. They don’t push you to do unnecessary procedures or charge excessive amounts for things, which is something i have experienced with other vets in the past. “We are so thankful to Dr. Duhr and staff. We had been to a different Vet Hospital 4 times and they couldn't find out what was wrong with our girl . We went to Dr. Duhr and he ran tests and found immediately that she has cancer tumors and he put her on medication and she is doing so much better. She is moving around more and is comfortable with the medication. We know she doesn't have long but she will not be in Pain or Sad now. We are so grateful. I would recommend Ramapo to everyone who Loves there fur babies!??Sweet Daisey Girl”

“West Chelsea has been our clinic of choice for 15 years. While the doctors change thru the years, they are all committed to excellence. One noticeable difference is that most of their vets are women. I find that women have a greater degree of empathy that I hope for in my vet.”

“I bought my dog here a week after she suffered from diarrhea and vomiting following an event on National Dog Day. Dr. Schmitt , the receptionist and the wonderful staff have done a phenomenal job in helping me and my pomeranian Mocha! They were courteous, friendly, reassuring me that she was going to be okay. They were very gentle with her and patient with me. She was back to normal after a week. I can't thank them enough!”

“I have had dogs my whole life, but not like most people. I train service dogs and am a canine equine and feline behaviorist. I rarely recommend anyone in this world anymore because when you recommend or refer someone to a professional such as a veterinarian, if they have a bad experience, you will never hear the end of it. The doctor Fisher and his incredible staff, are truly the best. I've dealt with great veterinarians in the past and some not so great. Dr Fisher is really that once in a lifetime veterinarian. He spends as much time as we need, always gets the right diagnosis, and if he can't figure it out, he will do everything in his power to research or confer with other professionals or specialists. I don't just have a pet. I have more than 20 dogs just locally, and have referred all of my behavior patients in the area and my service dog recipients, of which there are over a thousand, can anyone who is local or even within a couple of hours, gets the referral to Dr Fisher and his incredible staff. Not only is he exceptional, but Mike, Jackie, and all of their amazing staff truly care. They sit on the floor with the animals, gently help them instead of jumping on top of them like some of these other vet hospitals do to physically restrain them. Everyone around the office, including Dr Fisher, genuinely loves and cares for each animal as if it were their own. I've given five-star reviews before, but in this case I wish I could give 100 stars. They're just are no words sufficient to explain the expertise, confidence, competence and genuine caring for their patients and owners. If you are within a couple of hours of this vet practice, you've got to get here with your pets. Dr Fisher also is a practitioner of Chiropractic and of acupuncture, so he knows exactly which modalities to use and when. I have never walked out of his office without learning something, and feeling great about my choice in Veterinary specialists. My behavior patients are also always raving about how wonderful he is and thanking me for referring them to him. Dr Fisher's expertise with the service dogs and his knowledge with everything from medication and diagnostics, our second to none. I truly am grateful to Dr Fisher and his entire staff for always being amazing.”
