ShopRite of Garwood is a large, modern store known for its good inventory and wide selection of products. Customers appreciate the store’s convenient layout, easy-to-navigate aisles, and well-organized checkout area. The seafood department is especially praised for its quality, and the in-store bakery, deli, and meat departments are friendly, well-staffed, and provide great service. The store offers a broad range of food and food products at competitive prices, with most items consistently available on the shelves. Parking can sometimes be crowded, but overall, the store's staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient.
The bakery department has received mixed reviews. One customer praised a staff member for saving her daughter's birthday cake by accepting a last-minute custom order and allowing flavor and color modifications, making her experience very positive. However, another customer had a negative experience with a supervisor and some staff members who appeared rude, unhelpful, or unwelcoming, which discouraged future visits.
Shoppers also find the store's fruit, vegetables, tofu, and gluten-free or vegan products to be satisfactory, though some noted that the vegan selection could be expanded. The store’s in-store radio can be loud and repetitive, and some areas, like shelves and veggie bins, could benefit from better lighting. Overall, ShopRite of Garwood is appreciated for its variety, quality, and helpful staff, despite minor issues with customer service and store ambiance.
Not to far from my job, very convenient. The staff is real friendly and the orders are always on point along with good communication updates.

Great store, parking a little challenging at times and most employees are friendly. One downfall is no place to sit if you need to for a couple minutes if your handicapped or just not as youthful as you used to be. Talked to a manager and really felt like he blew me off. Overall a good experience.

I don't know what's happening with ShopRite in Garwood and in Clark, but they seem to be out of a ton of things every time I order online. Simple things like vanilla ice cream how does the whole store not have vanilla ice cream?
