“If I could give 10 stars, I would! I hosted my husband’s surprise 40th birthday here and I’m so glad I did. Everything went so smoothly from booking the event to the very end.
Dawn and Colleen were incredibly helpful and easy to work with. I was able to book out the entire place for the party, which made it feel really private and special. One thing I really appreciated was the flexibility—they provided the open bar, but I was able to bring in my own food and set up all of my own decorations, which made it easy to personalize the party exactly how I wanted.
The space was clean, well-organized, and perfect for our group. There was also a jukebox that we were able to use, and it honestly added the perfect touch and kept the energy fun all afternoon.
Everything came together seamlessly, and I was actually able to relax and enjoy the party. Our guests had an amazing time! I would absolutely host another event here again and highly recommend it.”

“Its a small theatre so wherever you sit you enjoy the show. They have a bar and snacks at the movie section. My husband was disappointed they didn't have coffee.

“I have attended many functions here over the years. Always clean, well staffed, and professional. My latest visit was no different. Everything was on point. They pay attention to the details. Love how they had a walkway through the parking lot leading up to the main entrance. Most places you would have to navigate through the parking lot.”

We had an amazing Wedding and we cannot thank the team at Brooklake enough! Our guests still compliment the food…shout out to the fried pickles a crowd favorite! “I had my daughter’s 1st birthday here and everything was great! Trish and John are so nice and accommodating and were very responsive through email answering any questions. Very easy to work with. The staff was nice and willing to help in anyway, the food and drinks were good and all our guests were happy! We received a lot of compliment on what a nice party it was!”
“If I could give Supreme Eventz, Jay, and the whole staff there 10 stars, I would do so easily. We had my nieces Sweet 16 here on Feb. 28, and to say that we all had an amazing time is an understatement. From when we booked the venue back in July until our event in February, Jay was absolutely amazing. He never got annoyed with my 10,000 questions and easily answered each one. When we wanted to go and do an additional walk through, he was right there for us showing us around, answering an additional 10,000 questions. My sister in law and I are now thinking of reasons to host another event here because it was just so easy and effortless. The DJ was fire, bartender, and Steve, the emcee, were so kind, funny, and accommodating especially when things on the side weren’t going to plan. If you want to take a lot of hassle out of planning a party or event, this is the place to do it.”
“We hosted my son and daughter in laws baby shower at this event space and couldn’t recommend it enough. The owner was respectful, communicative, and very accommodating especially when we received news that a snowstorm was coming on the day of the event. She helped us to coordinate a new date and time to ensure our celebration happened. The event space was spacious and in a great location! We had an amazing time!”

“The venue is in excellent condition. Beautiful. Parking was a bit confusing. Pre-paid Parking next to the CPAC was not available to retrieve from the website as indicated on the web page. There was a guy asking to be paid at the entrance of the lot but he had no credentials (uniform or otherwise) indicating he worked there. I took a picture of him and his vehicle.”
“This distillery experience is very entertaining and enjoyable! We came to hang out for my best friend's birthday and had a fantastic time with the owner Rich. We felt so comfortable drinking, hanging out and talking. I would highly recommend coming ro this establishment.”
“Came here with my 2 year old. This place is excellent. Huge space, plenty of room for everyone and ton of activities and toys. People are kind. A special shoutout to the onsite cafe- the personal pizza pie will rival most pizzerias in quality. Anyone with a negative review- you must be one of the types that complain about everything. This place is perfect to keep your toddlers engaged and get social interaction with other babies without being on top of each other.”

She has an incredible eye for technical adjustments—she fixed my backhand follow-through in just one session. She’s patient but firm, ensuring you get the most out of every basket of balls. If you’re looking to actually level up your USTA rating or just hit more consistently, Erica is the pro to see.”

I had a great experience at YCI! My sister recently held her wedding here, and it was obvious from the moment we were greeted by Dee that we were in expert hands. The space is large and convenient, but the real highlight was the hospitality.
Parking: It can be a little tough since there isn't a dedicated lot right at the door, but there is one within a short walking distance.
I highly recommend YCI to anyone looking to host an event in NJ. I’ll definitely be back!”

The space is clean and stocked with amenities such as a big variety of table sizes, heating mats for catering, built in sound system and wifi-enabled monitors for displaying a logo or graphic. The layout of the venue is perfect for hosting, with one large party space and then a bar off on its own. Then, the staff enhances the venue even more…accommodating, kind, friendly, helpful and more. For a kids party (like ours) a milestone celebration of even a small wedding - book here!”

“AMAZING venue!! We rented the entire facility for a sports-themed Bar Mitzvah with a couple hundred people. Kids AND adults all had a blast as there was something for everyone. Amy is the BEST to work with - helped to make our vision come alive and kept everything running smoothly all night. Very flexible space - highly recommend!”

“In just a few days, the upcoming Lunar New Year brings the Year of the Dragon on February 10th among East and Southeast Asian cultures. It’s fifth in the 12-animal Chinese zodiac cycle and the only animal that’s a mythical creature. This afternoon, my partner and I arrived at the Woodland, located off of Woodland Road in Maplewood, to celebrate Lunar Fest NJ 2024—Maplewood Arts & Culture. Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”
“Brilliant place for an event. Yes, it's in Newark, but don't let that turn you away. It has easy access from I-78 and while your event is running here valet parking in an extremly well lit parking lot gives you comfort on that end as well. The first level is eye candy for anyone into vintage cars or bikes. No, not a collection with a lot of depth, but that's not why you would be here. Upstairs is a spacious area for your event to continue in a more serious fashion. There is even a glassed in space perfect for the cigar smokers in your party. Though I do not know the details of the sourcing, the food served at the event worked out really well too.”
