I had a tire blow out on the highway from a large puncture, called them that afternoon, they were able to get my tire of choice delivered the next morning, squeezed me in that day for install, and in 24 hours from my initial phone call, the car is done. And they’re very friendly. What more could you ask for?”
“To start, this is the Valvoline I choose to go to every time I need an oil change, etc (even though I live quite a distance away and there are plenty of other options closer). I come here because these guys are on top of it all! Any service you’ll get done here is quick, done right and they’ll keep you in the loop throughout the entire process.If you don’t know anything about cars they’ll teach you a thing or two when you come in as well. “I usually go to Valvoline in South Plainfield which is usually don’t have an issue with but I was closer to Edison today. So I went in with my Groupon and was helped by the assistant manager Joe! He was excellent he didn’t waste any time getting to the point of the visit . Joe was very thorough with his explanations and didn’t make me feel out of my element at all.(which I really appreciate) He told me what my manufacturers recommended services were for my mileage and which one was most important at the moment. Joe also changed my air filter and showed me that the old one was ready to go. So no tricks there and the pricing on the air filter was fair . (I know because I used to work at a parts store.) “I have been a customer at this Valvoline since 2017. I have never had a problem here. The workers have a great attitude and make me feel like they want my car to be safe and running well. They check everything when you get an oil change, but even when I've come for just a battery change or coolant change, I'll ask them to fill the tires or check the other fluids, and they are always happy to do that. They never pressure you for anything. They make good recommendations and let you know when the last time you had something done so you can make your own decision. It's a very convenient location, and I would highly recommend this place.”
“I went to Jiffy Lube yesterday for an oil and filter change. I was promptly greeted when I pulled up to the service bay. I was asked what services I wanted by the young man who came to greet me. He then said of course, and asked me to step inside. Once inside, I was greeted and treated very well. A service advisor then came to talk to me and went over pricing for the oil change and what they were going to do. It was a fantastic experience!”

“Excellent customer service and mechanical work! They saved me THOUSANDS! How you might ask?? Story time! My son jumps in his '14 Ford Fusion (High mileage) and the dashboard is lit up like a Xmas tree. No power steering!I call around to a couple of local shops and they are honest - electric power steering needs a computer reset which they don't have and recommend going to a dealer. So, I went to the Ford dealer near me. Their diagnosis was a whole new steering rack is needed - $3,800!!!!I do some more googling to find Mark's specializes in fords so I call them. They can deal with the computer stuff so I bring it there. They do analysis (sent scan reports!) and discover the wire to the power steering motor was chewed off (rats!)! $500 to fix! Saved me over $3k.Great use of technology for the service. They email estimates with pictures and final bill! All very clear. (Going back to Ford with this info to get my diagnosis fee back!)Service is great (thanks Abbey, Mark and the team!).I really appreciate a well run, local, and competent business!!”
