“Flor Bella Designs went above and beyond what I expected. Im from California and could not attend my sister's grave site service in Mahwah. Not only did they make an arrangement with the colors I requested.... Blue and white... Her favorite color, and the color of the ocean.... Which she lived on, but they added sea shells to the arrangement! Everyone loved it! It was beautiful and unique. Thank you for helpng me play a small part in this heartfelt day.”
“The best local hardware store. Full of practical stuff for your home/garden projects and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. My 7 y/o loves to snoop around in there because there are so many neat little items and prices are reasonable. Got my windows re-screened there, and they were done within 24 hrs.”
“Thank you so much. Im so grateful for your customer service. Its a rare commodity with most companies. I know this is a busy season for you and yet you take the time to reach out to me with options to correct the situation. For that alone im grateful.
The florist delivered a beautiful arrangement to my family but the flowers were not the color i expected. The were willing to replace the arrangement. Unfortunately, my family was not available to do the exchange. They then offered others options. Ive ordered from them for years and they never disappoint on quality and design execution. You can order with confidence. I live in Florida and my family is in NJ so its comforting to know the arrangement represents our sincere Thanksfulness during this season of Thanksgiving.
Im sure to share my story with others. You have a loyal customer in me.
Sandra from Florida”
“This is a long overdue review for Schweinfurth. I am beyond grateful for Chet for fulfilling the casket cover of flowers for my loved one's funeral. It happened right around the 4th of July holiday and their time off in the summer but he took the time to make it extra special and deliver on time. If I ever need flowers in the future, I will be ordering from them. Thank you again for your open communication and care during a difficult time.”
“My number one go to plant store. They accept Apple Pay and are very friendly. For all other stores that don’t take Apple Pay too bad you don’t get my business it’s 2026 People!!! Adapt or die. Plants do”
“This place is a gem. There are so many items to choose from. They have fresh fruit/ vegetables and shelf stabled items. There are so many other items to purchase. I noticed they had breads, cheeses and jams for sale. They still have a good variety of potted plants and trees. The young lady who waited on me was very pleasant. Please visit/support this farm. You will not be disappointed.”
“Flower, bush, and tree selection is extensive! Tons of parking, helpful staff, selection is always in good condition. Entirely landscaped my businesses front and back with foliage from New Bridge — thank you so much !!”
“Great selection of plants, this is always my go-to nursery every year for any annuals that I may need. My only problem with it this year is that there were no prices posted, so I didn't get as much as I would normally get because I had no idea how much anything cost.”
“MHS never disappoints. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything/problem I have ever brought to them. Rarely do they not have what I need, but the one time they didn't have in stock what I needed, they told me exactly what to buy and had me take a picture of the specs.”
“Metropolitan Wholesale is hands down one of the best places to get flowers and floral supplies in the area. The quality of their flowers is always outstanding — everything is fresh, vibrant, and lasts much longer than what you typically find elsewhere.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Whether you're buying for an event, a business, or just picking up something nice for your home, they take the time to make sure you get exactly what you need. Their selection is huge and the pricing is very fair for the quality you get.
You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they do. I’ve been here multiple times and the experience is consistently great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality flowers and great service.”
“Overall they seem to have a nice variety of plants and gardening supplies. I was there to get herbs and they had a nice variety of both standard and organic, with one exception- I didn’t find any organic basil, which was disappointing. My wife asked inside and was told it was on the back patio but we searched everywhere and only found the standard.
Maybe it was because we were there midweek but there was no real help around. The older lady inside at the register was nice enough.
I was also hoping that maybe they grew and sold fresh fruit and vegetables but alas, they do not.
Also, if you read past mentions of a petting zoo or miniature donkeys, they no longer have any animals.
Overall, they have a good variety and were pretty well organized and clean.”
“Visited American Nursery looking for a dogwood tree and native plants and found a wide variety + knowledgeable staff. I’m on my way to building a Jersey Friendly certified yard.
Buy local - Buy Natives.”
“If you’re in the area, skip the big box stores and purchase your garden supplies here. Nice selection of perennial and annual plants. Friendly and helpful staff. There is also a separate aquatic plant and supply on site that sells plants and koi. The staff at that store was also great. Definitely recommend.”
“Although i didnt get what i want, but hopefully soon, Nancy,Henry and the Boss still delivering the best service to me ????
Huge selection of water plants like lotus, lilies, colocasia, carnivour plants.
For all who loves water plants should visit this store ???”
“Montvale hardware is an icon in Montvale NJ … The owner is extremely accommodating even through Covid ! I highly recommended them for a big project or just a quick tube of caulk ! The BM paint section is wonderful. This place has that old school wooden creaking floor hardware feel and we in Montvale cherish it so !!!!! You must visit”
“I’ve been going here for many years and though I’ve moved away from the area, I return each year. Nice variety of flowers and veggies and he carries some items that you cannot find anywhere else. Not only that, I’m pretty sure he’ll bring in items based on his customer’s request. Nice family run operation and the experience feels very personal.”
“I'm so grateful for this florist: Amazing selection and customer service! I've stopped in twice so far (for bouquets for my daughter and my mother)--although they were very busy, I was able to wait for beautiful bouquets. I highly recommend this shop.”
“This is the best nursery I have found in the northern NJ area. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff who are kind, thoughtful and really spend time with you. Excellent selection of indoor and outdoor plants. Highly recommend.”
“Amazing. I've used John and his team twice for pretty big jobs (80+ft trees) and they are awesome - the latest job they took down 4 large trees that were dead and when they were done, you wouldn't even know that they were there - cleaned up everything and took the trees away. Very fair price, super efficient and safety conscious. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!”
“Very user friendly and great place for all your mason, DIY, tool, gravel, sand, stone, etc. supplies. It was my first time there today and picked up a yard of stone dust for patio pavers. This place was so close to me as well and didn’t even know they were there until I found them online. I would highly recommend to my family and friends!”
“These guys really know their stuff. They fixed my machine quickly and showed great expertise when I asked about fertilization and weed control. Definitely a knowledgeable and reliable team!”
“The garden center is amazing!! Beautiful plants & flowers. Everyone who works here is super knowledgeable and helpful.. Midge is always fun to chat with!!?”
“I was headed to a birthday party and needed flowers for a planter. One of the guys working there was super helpful and even planted the flower for me. Beautiful flowers & great customer service!”

“Visited this Summer for several plants for the front of the house and 1 interior plant. I suck at taking care of plants. They are all alive and somehow thriving. Go figure. Limited choice but what they have is hardy and will not die right away. Will visit again.”
“My family and I recently had the pleasure of working with Anna on flower arrangements for my engagement party, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She created stunning flower arrangements that truly brought our vision to life. Her attention to detail and creativity were exceptional, and she was incredibly patient, kind and attentive throughout the entire process. Every arrangement was beautifully crafted and perfectly suited the atmosphere we wanted to create for our party. Thank you Anna for making our special day even more memorable! Five stars all the way!”
“We own a landscape design company in Bergen County and we have been shopping here for many years. Lennie and Lorna are knowledgeable plant people and Mike and Donna are always helpful too. Although it's not the closest nursery to us we never hesitate to make the trip because we know we will find the varieties, quality and price that we are looking for.”
“The nursery is brimming with landscaping supplies. The bushes, plants, trees, perennials and annuals are all fresh and exceptionally full. The nursery is open to contractors but you can come with them to select what you would like to have planted. They have many specimen plants and unusual varieties. Never disappointed with the company”

“I contacted them to get sympathy flowers for a friend and they went above and beyond. They delivered them the same day and our friends let us know they were the most beautiful arrangement they had ever seen and were so grateful! We live in Texas and our friends are in NJ and if we have to send flowers again for anything, we will be repeat customers!”
