“BEST SERVICE EVER!!! I’m 5 months pregnant and have 2 toddlers at home. So when my car battery stopped working this morning it was the last thing I needed to happen. I called around to different shops early in the morning and came across this one. The man who answered the phone was eager to help and told me I can come by right away. Mind you this was like 8 am. I dropped off my car and was told they will look at it today. Later in the day, not only did they figure out the problem, but they got me a new battery and put it in!!! So before they closed my issue was not only diagnosed but also fixed at an extremely good price!!! They went above and beyond what I could’ve asked for and made it possible to me to be able to drive my kids to daycare tomorrow and get to my doctor’s appointment. I will definitely be back anytime anything is wrong with my car and i recommend this shop to anyone needing help with their car!!! Thank you so much!!!”

“A while back, I was just looking for someone to do my daughter's oil change and I discovered Lou's Automotive Center as recommended through local FB groups. They were great so I visited them again for two issues with my car. My car dealership quoted me almost $2000 to change my LED headlamp and I was devastated by the cost. Then I had an exhaust leak so I prepared for the worst. I went to Lou's-lo and behold, it was not a $2000 replacement at all! Just a lightbulb replacement that was EXPONENTIALLY less money. And then, instead of just repairing the exhaust leak (because I would have been none the wiser), they informed me there was an open recall and if I took it back to the dealer, I would likely get the repair for free-and I did! So, they have a client for life now!”

“The owner, Bob, accommodated my request for a pre-purchase inspection on relatively short notice. His wife was gracious when I called and helped me set the appointment. He and his son, Matt, took the time to look over my car, and explain to me everything I needed to know about the car's condition. Their pricing was very fair, and they worked quickly, while keeping me informed about the car the whole time. I felt like both the car and myself were in good hands. Everyone there was friendly and clearly knew their stuff. Without hesitation, I can recommend working with Mulherns Auto Repairs!”

“I had my transmission blow out on my way to work one morning and once my insurance company finally towed it to West Deptford (11 hrs later, after they’d closed 😒) I got a call the next morning that they had identified the issue, and provided me a quote for the repair. The price was fair and in line with the market cost for the job. I was given an accurate timeline for the repair and the staff was friendly and attentive whenever I called to check in. I needed a full transmission rebuild, and they explained the root cause of the failure, why it needed a replacement and did not try to upsell me on anything other that what I needed to get driving again. The team was so kind as to pick me up from a rental car agency the day my vehicle was fixed because I wasn’t able to get another ride to the shop. Everyone I spoke to was kind, patient and honest. They understand that auto repair is something that no one plans for and no one is happy about, and displayed a great commitment to the craft and professionalism.”

“I've been coming here for inspection and maintenance for years. This is definitely one of the best shops around. It's almost always pretty busy so it's best to call ahead to schedule appointment. There's no dedicated parking lot (like most shops in Philly), but there's plenty of street parking nearby when dropping off the vehicle. They always explain if there's any fixes needed and get your approval before doing any work. They never try to push any unnecessary services or charge any surprise fees. A++”

“I’m so thankful and grateful for my service here with my 2020 Chrysler Pacifica I told them the back story on my car and how the dealership sold me a messed up car from day one and refused to correct their mistake with selling me a lemon. I spoke with Allen and he gave me suggestions and when the resources ran out he told me not to worry about it he will work it out for me and make things cost effective for me. The best part is they stuck to their word and delivered the greatest service ever and my car drives so much better now. I can’t express my gratitude enough for respectful and amazing service along with all their support”

“This was my first time going to Matthey Automotive. I would normally take my car to a mechanic in Westmont but they have a new front office coordinator and I have been considering going to another mechanic. My parents recommended Matthey. Overall, it was a good experience. My car was ready yesterday and it seems to be running well. The price was within $100 of the estimate I got from the other mechanic. The front office coordinator I met is Carl. He seems like a nice guy and I especially liked his bakery recommendation! I don’t think I will bring my car back to the Westmont mechanic. Thank you, Carl and everyone else at Matthey”

“My Nissan Rogue's transmission failed after 127,000 miles. Towed car to Cottman Transmission and was greeted by a friendly staff. My questions were answered honestly and within a few hours I was given the news no owner wants - costs for a rebuilt transmission. After three days my car was ready, and I actually paid the amount I was told over the phone (no added fees - imagine that - lol). Although I have just gotten the car back so I don't have any long term experience with the rebuilt transmission but everything is good after 30 or so miles. I appreciate the honest answers I received from the owner. I will recommend them to anyone who needs transmission work.”

“I’m not big on reviews but had to take the time out to leave a positive one for Mickey’s! Went in for an oil change this morning and it was a pleasant experience. They were quick and efficient, went above and beyond with doing additional minor work like replacing a rear light bulb and my back wiper blade. They also gave me new wiper fluid without asking which I really appreciated. Dan is a solid guy, straightforward, and Devin did excellent service. Highly recommended!”
