My wife and I were expecting our first child recently. My Wife was about 6 months pregnant when we found out our daughter no longer had a heart beat. This was a shock to us and I personally have never dealt with the cremation process or a funeral home in general. The first time I reached out to Mcafferty I spoke directly with Mark and explained our situation. From that moment until the process was over Mcafferty was there for my wife and I for every big and little step of the way. Every question I had was answered in a timely manner. It has become clear to me this is not just a business to them. I had my mother service here 2016, grandmother, 2017, father, 2021, great aunt 2024. The staff was compassionate, friendly, welcoming, professional. They answered any questions that I may have had and kept me updated during the whole process. Yes, the space is small if you have a large family. Parking is off street. But the location is in the heart of North philly. You have to be from North to understand. Brian is affordable and will help you out the best way he knows how.”

Jade did an excellent job preparing my 102 year old mother for the viewing. At my mother's age this was a very difficult task.
