You either have to pay a 3% processing fee for paying with credit or debit card or send a check. Are you kidding me?! Why do Americans still use checks? What about a simple bank transfer how they do it in Europe? This is so antiquated and inconvenient. I hate that my Dr. office uses this lab for their tests.

The worst customer service ever. Hanging up on a customer that is trying to figure out how to resolve an issue is so unprofessional and rude. Please hire people that actually wants to help people.

I called to get some information and they told me they don't have any obligation to communicate with patients. Wouldn't even listen to what I was asking.

scam company. paid the same damn bill 3x. still sending notices that they are sending me to collections. Additionally you cant send a collection on anyone but the adult patient, not the parent. all doctors need to immediately quit doing business with these scam artists, thieves and bullies. if you cant track your payments received find another line of business.

My lab tests I had done at my doctors office were sent here for analysis. Somehow my doctors office has no trouble billing my insurance but this place says it didn’t work. They refuse to call the insurance to figure it out in spite of the fact that this is literally what they’re paid to do. So now I get to waste what little free time making phone calls to figure this out. Unreal.

Working at MDL was anything but pleasant. I worked as a lab technician for multiple years. The best advice I can give you is to learn what you can and to get out of there as soon as possible. This company has the highest turnover rate. They are constantly hiring people because most employees don't make it past 3 months. This is not because the job is hard. But because of the company and how they treat their employees. This company has zero f***s about whether or not the employees are happy or not. They will milk you for everything you have until you are no longer useful. The owner Dr. Mordechai likes to buy a bunch of random businesses every year to make more money. He owns bakeries, pizzerias, apartment buildings, etc. He does not care about the employees of this company or focuses on it. This is why the company no longer gives out yearly raises to employees like they used to. Their benefits are also trash. They use a PPO network that no doctor's office accepts or has ever heard of (Trustmark Health Benefits). The employees are the only thing that makes this job tolerable. You will bond over how depressed you are and how terrible the company is. My biggest grievance is with the two lab directors. The lab director Rachel sits in her office all day. Nobody is sure what she actually does. She never seems to know what she's doing when she does step into the clinical lab. She does the least amount of work possible when forced to step in. She is the most unapproachable person out of all the management staff and always seems to be in a foul mood. I will admit that the other lab director Bhavina will put the work in and help out to the best of her ability. But don't expect any words of praise or gratitude from her. She is very critical and will tell you to your face how terrible you are. She has been there for 10 years but still has no clue on how to talk to people. Lastly, Jenn was recently promoted, and the power has gone straight to her head. All of the employees whisper about how arrogant she has become and how they no longer respect her. The management staff is only friendly unless they need to stay overtime because they don't have enough employees to sustain the shift. All in all, this is a very toxic work environment, and everyone gossips behind everyone's back. You see employees blatantly whispering into each other's ears. Jenn used to be notorious for doing this. It was the most unprofessional work environment that I have ever encountered. Whoever is reading this, I wish them good luck and to watch their back. To the management staff, do better. You are only as good as your team.

They Treat their workers like objects. You will not get the hours you apply for. The worst place to work would be here. Walmart is a better option and that’s saying something.
