They go above and beyond and they are always kind and helpful. I lost a receipt a few weeks ago, and they took the time to retrieve it for me without hesitation. “Reviewing the post office based on how they handle your passport application is just stupid. This is a post office. They handle mail. And parcels. They sell stamps. And money orders. Yes, they are required to handle passport applications, but forcing other customers to wait while you ask stupid passport questions whose answers can be found online or fill out forms that should be completed ahead of time is inconsiderate and self-centered.
The postal operations at this facility are first-class. I’ve been a customer here for decades and, other than some occasional grumpiness, have never had a service problem. They are efficient and very knowledgeable.”

“I had the pleasure of being assisted by Lovida at the post office, and I must say, she completely turned my experience around. After two previous visits, one being a walk-in and another an appointment that had to be rescheduled due to short staffing… I was beginning to feel a bit frustrated. But the moment I walked in on the third time, Lovida greeted me with a cheerful smile and made me feel completely at ease. Not only was she warm and friendly, but she was also incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Her positive attitude and willingness to assist truly made me forget about the previous inconveniences I had faced. “Great team at the Basking Ridge Post Office. The hard working ladies Rita & Ana are always welcoming and cognizant of pushing the customers through as quickly as possible. They are great with the passport applications and renewals. I go there pretty frequently for package drop off and the team always welcomes me with a smile and warm greeting. Once I hand off my packages, I know that they are in good hands of arriving safely at their destination.”
“I love Tara, who works at this post office, I live in Summit and come all the way here just because of her. I always have a prepaid label so it is a quick in and out, I have a small business and do a lot of shipping. When being attended by other other officers, even having pre-paid labels, I have sometimes ran into comments about how something about my package or my label is wrong (wrong package type, wrong sticker placement, wrong "zone rate" (my labels are created automatically by the USPS software based on accurate package details and shipping info so these comments don't even make sense). That has never happened with Tara and my package delivery rate is 100% with her.”

“Typically, any trip to the post office is associated with a groan, procrastination, then a period of denial. My wife and I couldn't put it off any longer. Holiday gifts had to go and we're in a pandemic. Our local post office was out of the question so we thought, try a new place.So glad we drove to the Park Ave., USPS. Erik was the clerk and he was extremely friendly, patient and professional. Took the time to advise us on our packages and delivery options and we in no way felt rushed. It was hard to imagine we were in a United States Post Office. Haven't had an experience like that in decades.Parking is fairly easy, lines were not very long despite holiday season rush on a Saturday morning. Also, there is disabled parking (which I utilized), directly in front as well as wheelchair ramp access for those who require it.Stay safe and be well...”

I actually go out of my way to use this location over others nearby. The service is consistently friendly and efficient, with the exception of one newer employee who seems less approachable. Lines can get long due to customer delays, not staff, but I usually wait no more than 10 minutes. The space is small but functional, and they have a fun selection of envelopes. Overall, a great post office.”
