“I have purchased tires from them twice this year for 2 cars. The staff is friendly and courteous. It’s clear that everyone gets along with one another which makes all the difference. From ordering tires through installation it was very smooth. The correct tire inflations were applied. The restrooms and the waiting area are extremely clean. I can’t say enough. The prices are fair. I had a screw in one of the tires I was going to replace and they plugged it for free since I had to wait a few days for the new tires. The Hackensack location is outstanding. I had seen some not so great reviews for other locations. Please keep up the good work. Thanks!”

“I had a great experience here today! 1 that changed the whole trajectory of my day. I was greeted by a young man who had not only great charismatics & mannerism but also a smile that can light up a room! Literally, I mean like his smile was handcrafted and made frm Jesus Christ himself. I was not able to get his name but I did purchase him a pink frosting donut while I stopped at the nearby Dunkin’ Donuts while waiting for my car to get serviced which was also a1 & 5-star service. That young man reminded me of a grandson I’ve sadly never had, people like him make the world go around seriously it’s the little things that count and matter to me. Ima longtime customer & I’ve always had good experiences @ Mavis but this one was much different & special. Bless his heart & give him a raise he really made my day thanks again young man with the bright smile.”

267 Ridge Rd, Lyndhurst NJ 07071
“So I haven’t actually done any work here but I called this place earlier today to ask about a tire replacement. I was sort of screwed over by another place close to where I live. So instead of firing off negative reviews and seeking “Justice” on that place, I am writing a positive experience about this place. By telling me his honest assessment of what he has in stock, he basically lost a potential sale because it is not what I need. He could’ve lied, manipulated or even tried to bs me in a way to get a sale (like my previous experience) I can absolutely admire and respect that. If I am able to bring this place my business in the future, I absolutely will!”

“The best Mavis I’ve ever been to. Jeremiah was knowledgeable and pointed out problems with my vehicle that I didn’t notice, when I came in for my oil change. They also noticed my tires were flat and made sure my vehicle was ready to be out on the road again. Thanks Jeremiah will be the only Mavis I go to.”

“Top notch tire shop! Brought 4 brand new tires to them to be balanced and mounted. They charged me $80. Most places wanted to charge me $140-$160 Extremely grateful to have found them. Work was excellent and I was in and out quicker than an oil change! Even got rid of old tires for me. Shout out to Christian! Highly recommend this shop! 🙏”

“I am always pleased with the service here at Jakes! We've been here a few times with different cars. This week I had a complete flat in my neighborhood and while they could not tow me to the shop, he encouraged me to call my car's roadside assistance. They accepted my car after hours and by the end of the next day, my car had a new tire and was ready to be picked up! Always efficient, super kind and fair prices. Happy to have them so close to home!”

“I recently had my Audi’s bumper dent repaired here, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of work is outstanding—you honestly can’t tell there was ever any damage. Eddy, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He was transparent, kept his word on timelines, and made sure everything was done to perfection. It’s rare to find someone so reliable and committed to customer satisfaction. Highly recommend this body shop if you’re looking for top-notch work and trustworthy service!”

“After a terrifying experience having my tire shredded while driving on the busy highway from NJ to NY, I was relieved to find this nearby tire shop open at 10:30 p.m. on a Monday. Christopher was working alone that late and went the extra mile to find me a great quality tire for my Tesla. He even went to the warehouse himself to find the best option for me. He far exceeded my expectations in an emergency situation, stayed late to help me, and was a pleasure to speak to. Thank you, Elsy Tires and Christopher!”

“The guys who installed my tires were very professional and very respectful, the only issue I had was the young lady who was collecting the Payment. She raised her voice at me when I wasn’t clear on the Service charges and got mad at me because she assumed I knew something when I only asked a question other than that the service was great.”

“I had two nails in one tire. Alan offered me two types (50,000 or 75,000 mile) as well as replace the one, or four (I really needed all four). Because he was honest and friendly, I replaced all four. Work was done in two hours. A+ all around.”

“10/10 service!!! I highly recommend coming to this Midas location. I purchased four brands new black hawk tires for my 2016 Honda Accord. The manager Sean was so helpful and knowledgeable. Not only did he offer me the best price in the area (compared to Pep Boys and Mavis), but he gave me other affordable options to look into as well. After I dropped my car off, they offered me an uber home to rest until they were complete with the services! When I arrived they gave me an update on my brakes, rotors and oil and let me know that it was all up to date. He also let me know that my tires came with a LIFETIME WARRANTY for free with my purchase! Unheard of! My car is driving beautifully and I’m so happy. Thank you Midas on 22!”

“I can’t recommend Island Car Care enough. Finding an honest, knowledgeable mechanic you can truly trust is rare, but that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Danny and the entire team are professional, transparent, and genuinely care about their customers. They take the time to explain what your vehicle actually needs, never try to upsell unnecessary repairs, and consistently deliver high quality work at fair prices. From routine maintenance to more complex repairs, every experience has been smooth, efficient, and stress free. It’s refreshing to work with a shop that values integrity and customer service as much as technical expertise. If you’re looking for a reliable mechanic in Staten Island, Island Car Care is the place to go. They’ve earned a customer for life. Highly recommended!”

“Honest people!! I was traveling from out of town on my way to Philly from Westchester, New York and all of a sudden several lights came on my dashboard. We were told to stop at this place to see if they could help. A nice young mechanic came out and checked the codes and saw that it was the transmission body control valve. He spoke to his boss and they both said it was OK to drive it and there would be no problems. I made it back to New York went to my mechanic and showed him the same issue and he confirmed there was no threat to driving it. I really appreciate the honesty and the helpfulness that day. We had a great time at the concert lol Thank you again for your time!!”
