Service rep who took information did not tell me to keep applicance plugged in during the 6 day wait for service so first service call was wasted.Second scheduled service call was a no show and impossible to talk to a person or get any details on what was happening. The customer interface sucks. (especially with a service window of 8 am to 5 pm--- lost a day of work for nothing)The third call was professional and he ordered parts.The fourth visit was professionally handled and the repair made.

I can't speak for the actual physical service because I never got that far. This place has absolutely, by far the worst customer service that I've experienced in my entire life. I have spent so many hours on the phone with so many people just trying to schedule the service I wanted (washer/dryer clean&maintain plus replace one part), order a part, send back the wrong part and order the right part... They are so unbearably incompetent, don't understand anything you're asking for, continually cold transfer the call around so that you have to start over again from scratch. The phone tree is also absolute garbage, doesn't have enough options and leads to so many dead ends where you have to just call back again. They assured me the service I was looking for was only going to be like $250 when by the time the service person called me to try to come by when the part they said they would send me hadn't arrived yet, the service person was like wow I don't know why they would have told you that price, it's going to be many hundreds of dollars. Cool. So all of this was a waste and I should actually just get new machines because that price is not worth it. One of the phone customer service conversations was so overwhelmingly frustrating and upsetting that I lost my ability to function and had to take the rest of the day off work. This is so weird for me because I am normally such a calm and patient person, and I really do not like taking off work. Sears is an absolute NIGHTMARE - avoid them at all costs!!!

Do not call them! What a terrible experience. We were told over the phone our fridge, with it's dead compressor, was covered under warranty. As a result we scheduled them to come out for the repair. They arrived and the tech told us that the fridge was not covered under warranty and that the repair would cost over $1400 to repair. That's more than a new fridge! We declined since the only reason we had them out was they said it was covered under warranty. Less than 5 minutes in our home only taking the temperature of the fridge and telling us we owe them $150. They lied to us so they could charge a "diagnostic fee". This is bad business, and their customer service has been horrendous since in trying to dispute the charge. I will never use them again, never do business with Sears again, and never recommend them to anyone.

I can't possibly say enough good things about my tech, Daniel! Dan is warm, friendly, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and goes way above the call of duty to make sure the customer is happy and satisfied. Dan is without exaggeration the best service tech I have ever dealt with for service. Dan is an example of what all service techs should aspire too and he should be used as a trainer to teach all new and current Sears technicians.Service: Dryer repair

Guy came out and did NOTHING. Asked me to explain what was going on. Opened the freezer door, closed it and told me what it "sounds like" based on description. Then handed me the $155 service fee to come there to tell me nothing.

SEARS KENMORE A WASTE OF MONEY; GARBAGE PRODUCTS THAT DON'T LAST; SENT "REPAIR TECHNICIAN" WHO WAS NOT ABLE TO REPAIR WATER HEATER THAT FAILED AFTER 8 YRS; SEARS REFUSED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR GARBAGE PRODUCTS! We had sears come on 6/8 to fix our ride on lawn mower. However they had to order parts and would be back on 7/11. They did not show up on 7/11 and did not even call. When I called they said they were still waiting for one part. They rescheduled for 7/20 and finally fixed our mower. Almost a month and a half without a lawn mower during summer months not really good! Technician was very nice and got the job finally!

Had a great experience with this company.Had an initial technician, Karl, come out to diagnose the problem and order the part. Then two technicians came out today to fix my oven, John and Frank. All three technicians were professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, had great communication and kept me updated with approximate arrival time and my oven was fixed in no time.It was a pleasure to work with this company and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.Service: Oven repair

Don’t bother. My wife stayed home for two days, lost time from work. The day the service technician was supposed to be there. Called in to say he couldn’t make it. Reschedule another day!!!??This happened twice. Lost two days pay!?? Go fig.
