ShopRite of Hazlet is a local grocery store that takes pride in providing a unique shopping experience for its community. As part of the Wakefern Food Corp, a cooperative of fifty family-owned businesses, ShopRite of Hazlet offers a wide range of quality products, including their own exclusive brands like Bowl & Basket and Paperbird. Customers appreciate the store's competitive prices, with one reviewer noting a recent shopping trip where they purchased 75 items for just $194.38, including meat, seafood, and other essentials. While the store may not carry every item a customer desires, the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Brianna, make up for any shortcomings. However, the bakery department has faced some challenges, with a few instances of incorrect orders for birthday cakes. Despite clear instructions, the bakery has failed to follow the customer's specifications, leading to disappointment and embarrassment. The store management is aware of these issues and is working to improve the bakery's performance. On a positive note, the produce department is praised for its exceptional quality and presentation, with one reviewer commending the department manager for their dedication and attention to detail, creating a visually appealing and well-organized section. Overall, ShopRite of Hazlet strives to provide a pleasant shopping experience for its customers, with a focus on value, selection, and personalized service from its staff.
Nelson in the deli department was very helpful and took the time to help me figure out what meat & cheese was to my liking. Great customer service.

This isn't a bad place to shop but it's not fair that people have to buy expired products that taste stale and old the workers need to check expiration dates on products especially the healthy section where the products are very expensive
