If I could give 0- stars I would. I have 5 lines I simply went in for an upgrade and they assigned all the wrong phone numbers to the new phone. Which then turned off my personal phone and swapped the other two lines. She had no idea what she was doing. The huffing and puffing going on was a huge no no for me. This is a large company. To have a customer down for 16 hours and on a phone call next day for 3 to straighten out the mess they put us through is ridiculous. There is no excuse at all. She was working between 2 families and just wasn’t paying attention and assigned the wrong phones to the wrong phone numbers and screwed us all up. Even shut mine down. As a small business owner I’m floored at the diminished customer service in this particular store in Hazlet …. My family and I will never go back there esp after the old bait and switch… questions on upgrades , plan levels. Changing to business accounts to save money and actually spending more. This location is awful. Switching plans saying they’re better and they are clearly not. Not a good look. Crooks

Phone broke, ordered new one called every day to see when to pick up. Calls always went to main cust service. Told to wait they will contact me. Finally got an email from them telling me my order was canceled because I never picked up. Now to start all over.

Bait and switch. They promise you a $200 gift card to Target if you get the home wireless. Then, when you try to redeem it, you get the run around and get told they can’t help you. Buyer beware! 13 year customer.

Horrible customer service. I went to the store in January 2024 asking to remove some phone lines I don’t need. I met Vincent who convenced me to open business account and add lines to get a better deal. I trusted the guy and signed a new contract with the new lines, he was supposed to merge the two accounts. He didn’t follow up and didn’t do what he was supposed to do. Trying to call/ text his business phone number, he doesn’t return calls which caused my accounts to get all messed up and had to pay unnecessary cost to avoid going to collections and ruin my business credit history.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews but the level of unprofessionalism and just looking for the commission and then screwing clients is unprecedented.
I have business myself, If you don’t provide sincere customer service, you will close even if you are Verizon !!.
Wish you care more about your business and when respond to reviews, try to do some effort and don’t use the copy and paste ready made canned responses.

Rosa is absolutely AMAZING. She helped me today and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I always put off upgrading my phone because you never know what type of person you get but I was so incredibly happy and lucky to have Rosa help me. She cares, it’s more than a job to her - you can just tell. Forever thankful for her amazing customer service and professionalism. Thank you Rosa!!

My daughter cracked her screen on her iPhone 14 and then the screen went black We were in a pinch as she was going back to school the next day and all I can say is the people at the Verizon store in Hazlet were absolutely phenomenal Thank you to both Rashi as well as the manager Chris, as we were able to get a great deal on a new iPhone 15 and have a ready to go back to school with new phone

Came here the other week to help my mother get a new phone. Giovanni was great to deal with. Super helpful and patient with my mom who had a lot of questions and is not very cell phone savvy. Great experience.

Shoutout to Aaron for asking if I needed assistance, once he was done with his customer. I was skipped over by reps, and customers that had arrived after me, were taken care of before me. Reps didn't want to acknowledge me as a customer, as they all walked away to a room in the back of the store. It would seem that proper customer service is given selectively at this location.

They are absolutely useless. Do not pay cash and lose your receipt because you are screwed. They can't set your phone up right and then when you complain, they do not fix it. Go elsewhere
