A dealer and another repair shop said a new engine was needed on my 2013 Prius V; the latter offered to “dispose” of car at no cost (I suspect they would have repaired and sold it). Extensively researched shops specializing in hybrid engine repairs:

Kyle, Walko Hybrid Technician fixed my car in 2 weeks (after sitting in my driveway, for 1 year). Asked me for car symptoms:
• Check engine light displayed;
• Engine revved, without me pressing on gas;
• Jack hammer or slight fluttering noise, when accelerated from a stop (due to coolant leaking into engine and then drying up); and
• Diagnostic codes from my T-Mobile tool (engine misfires).
He provided details and pricing for me to make needed decisions. After repairs made, my car drives like new, even though it has 226,000 miles:
• Head gasket replaced;
• Water pump replaced;
• Brake master cylinder module replaced; and
• Damaged engine cylinder repaired by machine shop.
Any NJ hybrid owner, who needs car repairs should go to Walko. You won’t regret it!”
“I brought my Ford Maverick in with a screw in the left front tire.
Was in a hurry to have the tire repaired as I had a doctor's appointment in an hour.
They had the tire fixed and I was on my way in plenty of time for my appointment.
Did not get their names but the two guys behind the counter are the type of people that are a pleasure to deal with.

“Dave runs hell of a show at All Repairs Unlimited. He is best person to speak to on planet Earth. Give him any car he will dissect it up for you whether it's a motorhaul, transmission swap, any other repair, etc. No gimmicks here it is what is honest upfront. I told him I need new Mounts for my Jeep. He said let us have a look at it thouroughly first before moving forward. You can't go wrong with Dave at all. We had a very long conversation that's what tells me that Dave goes above and beyond each customer's expectation. Above A1 customer service. He has done MBA course on customer service. “I've always wanted lifts to display my car collection that I have built up over the years. I had the pleasure of working with Dave. His knowledge, care and attention was so helpful throughout the entire process. Upon installation he was present and made sure everything ran smoothly. “A critter chewed my gas line and the OEM replacement took a while to arrive. Joe was honest and up front about the ETA of the part arrival and the repair timeframe. They kept my car safe inside their shop for this time period since it had to be towed in. The scope of the job was massive just to replace the fuel line system and Joe was up front about the process and labor cost. When the check engine light came on after the repair, the guys found another critter hole in the evap line and did a repair for no additional charge. All in all, the whole situation was really annoying (having to wait for the part and finding more critter damage) however Joe and Mike kept things going in a positive way and made sure the car was right again and communication was solid.

“These guys make some nice products. Ordered a new steering column for my civic and it was out their door and to mine in 2 days. They are also extremely responsive to questions and back up their stuff 100 percent.”
“It’s so good to find an honest man who does great work at a fair price. We left a car door open and backed out of our garage, bending the door out of shape. I forced it to latch and took it to another shop who quoted us $2800 to replace the door. I asked if he could bend the door back into shape. No, it would break the window. Driving home, we passed Showcase, turned around, went in, and spoke with Stan. “No problem, my guys will bend it back into shape. About $250.” Won’t break the window? Nope, they do it all the time and have seen much worse. We dropped the car off that evening and it was fixed by lunchtime the next day. A couple of weeks later, we hit a deer, wrecking the hood, grille, headlight, fender, and side view mirror. Back to Showcase. Stan ordered all the parts, pre-painted everything, and when everything was ready and true to his word , he had the car fixed in two days at the price he quoted us. He also, without charge, took some dents out of a door that had been previously hit by a deer, and touched up the little scratches and dings on the rest of the car. The car looks beautiful, better than it did before we hit the deer. I’d never take a car anywhere else. Thanks guys!”
“Once again John and the Crew took care of me in record time, what was only to be an engine oil change, tires balanced and rotation, turned out to be much more then I realized as to what I actually needed at that moment.
I arrived at 7:50 AM Tuesday morning, and within minutes the guys had my RR L405 on the lift, they showed me just had bad my tires had worn on the inside edge, also my front rotors and pads were in need of replacement in the very near future, along with two tpms sensors, so I ended up with 4 new tires, 2 sensors, front rotors (high carbon) and pads, an alignment, and the oil change, John was able to source the tires and parts within an hour, he gave me 3 choices of tires, and 2 choices for the front rotors and pads, I went with the Continental DWS tires, and the high carbon rotors, John then gave me a loaner so I could go home and pack, the Crew had my vehicle ready and waiting at 1:52 PM same day, I then proceeded on my 1200ish mile drive straight through without any issues, the new tires and brakes gave a great new ride (feeling) to the vehicle.
You can not ask for quicker quality service and professionalism then you will receive here.
