“This bookstore found me. And every since then it’s been calling me back. I walked in and was met with the smell of the alphabet and maps from every country in the world. I was allowed to peruse the first floor without being pressured and that felt good because walking in can be intimidating.Everyone there was helpful and I was directed to the second floor by means of a turn of the century elevator. Maps on this floor were organized smartly and you must ask for assistance before taking them off the shelf.I would encourage you to check out their website so you have an idea of what you are looking for before arriving. They also have volumes online that may not be in store at the current time but they have access to from their warehouse.”

On a recent trip to NYC I was so excited to find this place while out hitting the local Jewish book stores as there are none where we live here in Washington State. Doina has the most exquisite fine Jewelry and I found two beautiful Magen David pendants. I had been looking for some time for the perfect pendants and found exactly what I wanted. She was so helpful and friendly. I got caught up talking with her as I was leaving the store totally unaware that I had left the pendants on the counter. She chased me up the street to give them to me. She is SO nice! I will be back. She also has the most incredible collection of silverware and Judaic homewares.”
