“Looks brand new! I'm a huge fan of stand food and it's great they right by the train station! You want grilled or fried they have it too ?? Check em' out”
“I was finally able to visit La Bodega. My family of 7 took the trip down from Westchester, NY, for dinner. The ambience was warm, welcoming, and beautiful! We each got different meats along with rice, beans and maduros- the food did not disappoint! The service was prompt and friendly- we felt right at home. Absolutely retuning.”
“I make meat/chicken orders at Prime One a few times a year (I don’t live in or near Passaic). The meats are top quality and always fresh!! Shia is extremely knowledgeable about every cut of meat and his recommendations are always on target!
Last week I made a large shabbos order from Gourmet One (the deli counter). The new chef is great! The food was fresh and delicious!! The brisket in mushroom sauce was outstanding! Was disappointed that I only took one container of the fruit mix/compote - we didn’t have enough! Everyone wanted doubles!
Looking forward to ordering takeout again!”
“Let me tell you, they are always consistent! Super sweet staff, food is delicious and who doesn’t love the convenience of being able to buy grocery that’s located right next door. From bom boms, to pao de queijo and more ?”
“Excellent place to spend the day. Been going here since I was a little kid collecting Pokemon cards in '93. Great food and great shopping for items you otherwise couldn't get anywhere else. Shop in Japan without actually flying to Japan. Really amazing.”
“Exquisite vegan delicacies, I've been coming here for years. Every type of meat and fish substitute you can imagine. Truly one of the best, if not the very best, vegan grocers in NY”

“The meat section could use some TLC, there was an open steak package mixed in with the prepackaged steak. In front of the butcher section the holding container (not sure if that’s the term) it did not look clean at all with stains under the meat.”

“I think they need to go down on the prices. This store was opened about 40 Years ago. Made for people that have a large family, A Rebbe or someone that learns in Kollel. The prices the was unbelievable cheap to according the Local stores. It's time to bring this store back and help out the local Family's.”
“This place makes amazing Italian sandwich's. They have all the best you can imagine. Fried eggplant and Italian roasted peppers are delicious don't forget the fresh mozzarella. Enjoy”

“Open 24 hours with a free parking lot and is a local institution for groceries. Sometimes the egg prices are the best. I like to grab already cut cold cuts from there. The honey ham, golden turkey, and the spicy chicken cold cuts. Virginia Ham is good also.”
“Cold and warm buffet options.
Payment is based on weight, prices are cheap by NY standards and there is no obligation to tip!
It tastes delicious but eating it out of the cardboard box isn't for everyone.
The store itself almost only has its own brands.”
“Aldi advertises refund plus replacement for purchased item that did not meet your expectation. This is a marketing slogan more than an actual guarantee that would ever work in practice due to unwritten rules you will find out when it is too late. The vast majority of items are good quality and hardly anything ever has to be returned.”

“I love it here walking distance from home 20mns but worth it sales always on waffles past 3 yrs it's not changed 100%. only thing I dislike is that the lady is annoying eye watching you and having arguments with customers over all I love it”
“Great selection of staples, as well as more unique (local!) and even vegan items. The layout is well thought out, and they’ve made very good use of the space. Bonus points for having consistently fantastic music playing. Grateful to have this in the neighborhood!”

“Always my number 1 place to grocery shopping, prices are reasonable, and NO ONE CAN BEAT THEM..... average Supermarket is way too expensive. I GOT 4 shopping bags, 2 plastic backs and one back pack full of groceries for 133.89. Yet in any supermarket same items would had cost me around 250.00 or more.”
“Matko boska! The selection and prices here are very good. I will return to this establishment and Polish district overall. I would however check the expiration date on things to make sure they aren't already expired before you buy. I bought about 50 items and I only found 1 or 2 that were expired but a few that would be expiring within the next 60 days. The other problem here is the lady that works there is from the communist Poland era so don't expect any good customer service skills. She seems annoyed at having to work here and isn't willing to help much, probably didn't get any Biden bucks.”
“Friendly atmosphere! They had a everything and more reminiscent of my trips to Albania. Fresh meats, they also a variety of Burek, sallam sheep cheese olives. Can't wait to go back and get the sweets such as Kadaif!”
“While being located near the yankee stadium, this is one of the most diverse supermarkets that I always enjoy going to. I love the variety of foods and how fresh they maintain the products. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. I really like how some of the isles are separated to embrace different cultures and to make it easier to look for specific ingredients that you want. They certainly have a large selection of Vegan/ plant based options. The seafood section is extremely fresh and the employees there are extremely helpful. The spaces are clean and the items are easy to obtain while shopping. They also assist you with your parking ticket , when you spend one $100 dollars, they validate your ticket up to two hours. I love that about them. The staff and management are extremely helpful and this one of my favorite locations.”
“Foodtown is actually family they are the only supermarket in east harlem that treats the customers as family they solves the problem they speak to you respectful, there prices are descent and management is awesome they fish and meat market is ok as well”

“Nice sized local market that services the Spanish community, nice butcher and good produce available. Good selection of Spanish foods but if your looking for something specific that is not Spanish they may not have it. Remember to tip the checkout ladies when they help you bag your groceries. ?”
“I'm delighted to share my wonderful experience at this exceptional supermarket. The wide variety of fresh produce, high-quality groceries, and household essentials exceeded my expectations. The store's cleanliness, organized layout, and helpful staff made shopping a breeze. With reasonable prices and regular promotions, it's a go-to destination for all my shopping needs. I highly recommend this supermarket for its outstanding selection and outstanding service.”
“I want to thank corporate and Ana and her staff for all of the help they gave me about a coupon that another location didn't want to deal with
It might not have been a big deal to them but in these times it really helped me out and for that I will always be grateful”

“Awesome prices on most items, still missing more products but overall it saves you money. Non Aldi's products could be high priced and that plus the limited selections is why I did not give it a fifth star”
“Everything is very good, everything is at hand, except that it is too small to walk with the supermarket carts and they do not make way for others, the customers are unaware on that side.”
“I love that this is NOT a humongous grocery store, but carries a good variety of produce, deli, and other items. Staff is wonderful. I like the layout of the store. Downside: the PRICES are VERY high---way, way higher on just about everything as compared to ShopRite or Trader Joe's (or even Whole Foods). Milk is twice as expensive. Fresh herbs, fresh seafood, poultry--all WAY more expensive than ShopRite's down the street.
It is like a convenience store for people who make a fortune on Wall Street. That's why I don't buy that much there.
Exception: Rotisserie chickens are just $6.99 on Tuesday--that is a very good deal, but the only one I can think of off hand. Otherwise, I think of it as an overpriced convenience store. Fine if you do not care about how much you spend on food. (Most people do care...)”
