Symposia Community Bookstore is a nonprofit thrift shop and community center in Hoboken. It is an absolute favorite and a little slice of Heaven, described as a great place, a local gem, and a must-go. The store offers a great selection of books for all readers at very reasonable prices. It is a great community place with a wide variety of events, including puppet shows for kids, open mics, discussion groups, and occasional parties. The friendly, helpful, kind, and personable volunteers create a great community environment.
My son and I love coming to Symposia to browse books and meet nice people! The books are in amazing condition. A perfect place to pick up a gift or your next read!

I was here today to get some DVDs, amazing place with great peaceful vibes. The person at the front desk was particularly kind and helpful, shoutout to him (I don’t remember his name, but I visited today around 1 PM :)
