I lived here for a year and it was basically fine.My worst complaint was that the heating units don't work well in winter: they work by heating the air from outside, but if the outside temperature drops too much then you don't have hot air any more. I mostly fixed the problem by getting a space heater.I also had a lot of stress related to a bedbug infestation. Management was really unfriendly about it.But the view is great, the location is great, it was quiet enough, the front desk people are friendly, and I never saw any roaches.

It’s a shame that such an old building takes up such prime real estate in Jersey City. The views are great but the fixtures are old — including the window screens which impede the view. Wish they would reconstruct a higher scale building here

Management is EXTREMELY inflexible. We had requested a little bit of flexibility on our lease completion date (and were willing to pay a higher monthly rent) after having lived in the building for 30+ months and the management was unwilling to accommodate even the smallest request. The ironic part was that we were requesting the additional time to help us find a larger apartment within the SAME community and needed the time because inventory is extremely low at the moment.Management has no empathy for its residents, even long standing ones who have always paid on time, referred multiple friends to the community, maintained their apartment extremely well, and even left good reviews on the community portal. At some point, this kind of attitude is going to backfire.

I had a terrible experience with the receptionist - Bernardo. The receptionist was rude and disrespectful, and his attempt at humor were inappropriate and unwelcome. I was particularly disturbed by the receptionist's threat to "trash" individuals who forgot their key fobs, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Monthly electricity easily goes up to $600. They also charge you $500 from security deposit even after you hired people to clean the apartment. Management is very irresponsible and unfriendly. On average you end up paying more living here, compared to the nice and newer buildings around.

I honestly like the apartment and the front desk workers are so nice. If you are kind, they will be kind to you. The few things that are minus are 24/7 continuous constructions. They are painting drilling almost everyday since morning. This will be for every apartment around us since they are all rent apartments. Today I opened my window for literally 10 seconds and the strong paint smell came in. It's been 8 hours since then and now my house smells paint. The smell is too strong as if I just painted my room. I'm afraid this can be bad for my body. We had candles on but it won't work. I don’t know why they just let the smells out I will have to be experiencing this for several days. Don’t get the point payment expensive rent honestlyThere is also a pool construction outside. Idek why they are building that at that location...bruh...Houses are clean, I've never seen roaches either.

Bernard is the worst front desk ever. He has no passion with his job and is super racist.

People who work there are friendly, but the building is not noise proof, and there are a lot of noisy neighbors who play music at 2am

Noise noise noise......if you live in lower floors, you would get a lot of noise at night especially in the summer time, be prepared that people would party, sing, talk loudly (sometimes screaming) all night long....I was always woken up by some crazy noise after midnight sometimes even around 3am....if you're a light sleeper, avoid this neighborhood or maybe you could try higher floors 30-36 and don't open your windows at night times. Good luck...

The lawn where the lighthouse is located used to be closed to public access. But COVID happened. Surprisingly, the property management went like "Hmmm, people have been in quarantine, what if we open up this area for them to meet and picnic and party together with or without face masks? Splendid idea!"The lawn was built with a fence around, which means it isn't a public park! Now, remove the benches and close the public access to the lawn! I am also writing a complaint to NJ Detp. of Health regarding the public health hazard caused by the property management.

The management team is awful, they never fix your apartment. Corado is the worst maintenance guy I ever met. Always rude and yelling to you, but never fix anything you asked or put in the system. He just mark your maintenance request as fixed in the system without doing anything.

The managing staff/doorman are very rude and unprofessional, and the whole management is a chaos. There are options in the surrounding area, this one is a particular bad choice due to its management and price.
