I was helped immediately and at no time did I feel like a car "moron" which I most certainly am. The gentleman who assisted ran an initial check and confirmed a battery was needed. He gave me a great deal (WAY less than the online price) and he installed it for free. I am beyond grateful and so appreciative of his services! I didn't get his name but I was there between 4:30p and 5:30p on 2/19. Thank you sir!!”

“They're honorable owners & sell top quality auto parts just as reasonably priced as the POOR QUALITY sold everyday all day at Auto Zone, Advanced Auto Parts who sell disastrous parts with warranty u CONSTANTLY have to change out as I've experienced with parts like ALTERNATOR that had 2 be changed out 3x in a matter of 1 year at Advanced Auto & having to deal with corrupted employees that try hard 2 sabotage & not Honor the warranty costing you more time & money by having to call CUSTOMER SUPPORT 2 COMPLAIN ABOUT EMPLOYEES blaming you or your car for their inferior QUALITY parts they have the nerve to warranty ?!!! “Words cannot properly capture how awesome the service is here! Since I was having brake issues which could have been an easy fix or a major repair, I wanted to go to someone who is trustworthy, reliable and honest, something I have not found in most mechanics in my experience. A good friend of mine recommended Dave's Auto Repair since he's taken his car there for the last 20 years. And I took that as an excellent voucher to try them out. I was NOT disappointed!!!Marisol is an angel, and the workers at this shop are heavenly! All staff with whom I came in contact were polite, friendly, professional, thoughtful and caring, and the cost of replacing a brake line and bleeding the system was 1/10th of what a local mechanic quoted me. (I live over 30 minutes away from Jersey City, but the trip and the cost of an uber while they worked on my 25-year old Honda CR-V was well worth it!) I very very highly recommend their services and will return for any and all repairs in the future.Service: Brakes”

“They were amazing after my horrific experience w AAA & their false promises of supplying a battery Napa gave me a great price & found me a mechanic to install for $15.. AAA on the other hand only recommends garage that want to rip people off. The garage wanted to charge me $450+ I said, " Are you kidding me ", & I left. NAPA $161 for a Volvo battery & $15., to get it change. They are awesome, helpful, professional & so nice. Thank you guys”

“Cars were parked and hit. The first car fixed was my wife's Lexus suv. Sandy did such a good job and kept all of the old parts to show me. The paint job was a perfect match to her burgundy lexus. The second vehicle was a Honda odyssey. The entire bumper needed to be replaced. Sandy matched the paint, and also took care of some paint scratches around the van. He did a great job and his prices are not only competitive but better than professionals with his caliber of expertise and experience.”

“I felt I needed to write a review because after reading the other reviews here, I lost some sleep thinking this was going to be a multi-visit super expensive pain to deal with, especially because it was a rental car that got towed. I called them beforehand, asked what info I needed, called the rental car company and got the documents, went over around 9am, and was in and out. The guy was friendly and helpful. The car was not damaged or anything. They even accept credit cards - so they're easier to work with than my laundromat that only accepts cash :). Getting your car towed sucks, but this was as good of an experience as I could have hoped for all things considered.”

It was too expensive elsewhere to get rid of all the fender dents and scratches and holes my bumper endured from urban street parking, but they offered a price far better than any shops in the area. Stephanie in the office is very helpful and accommodating. They did such a good job at a great price that I brought my other family members over to get their cars fixed up. Our cars look like new now at a reasonable price. They are a great local business that I can recommend without reservation. We were lucky to find this place after getting in a fender bender with someone who recommended this place. Went to three other places for estimates but they were the lowest by far. Cash only.”

Shane Totaram, a store employee who had already clocked out helped us immensely - the part we needed they did not have at that store location and to travel to the store that did have it would have proved difficult. Shane, even after his scheduled work day, took the time to help us with a temporary fix that got the window up for the long rainy/snowy drive home to Maine. “Honest. Dependable. Trustworthy. Affordable. Timely. Everything you could possibly want in an auto-repair shop or in an emergency towing situation. My SUV wouldn't start in a parking garage in Hoboken, NJ. A&L Auto Body was the only shop willing to drive their tow truck into the narrow garage to try to get it out. After making multiple trips to the garage to test various solutions, they were actually able to fix my car (when AAA couldn't), helping me avoid all costs associated with towing. If A&L wasn't able to step up, I have no idea what I would have done to get that car out of that garage. My experience with them was perfect, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a tow or any sort of car repair/maintenance.”
