“I am a loyal customer and come here for 99% of my pantry needs. They have some of the best nuts I’ve ever tried (especially their roasted almonds and cashews), huge fan of the Turkish apricots and their figs are always soft. They have a great selection of spices, Ayurvedic medicines, and grains & legumes. I also buy their rotis and love making wraps with them. As a home cook they stock my kitchen! And the staff are always very helpful, if you’re looking for something in particular or have an ailment that you need a remedy for.”

“I love this little store and the owners. They couldn't be nicer and they always remember me and my little boy. They have a great menu of fresh fruit and veggie juices, smoothies, and wheat grass shots. Not all wheat grass is the same -- theirs is organic, healthier, and it just tastes better! I had a really tasty juice this morning and I can't wait to go back for another round. While I was waiting for my juice, I picked up a jar of organic raw honey and some amazing patchouli soap. The prices are very fair for what they offer. I will always support this store!”

“Fairly cost effective uptown supermarket. Strong community feel here, the customers are regulars and exchange neighborly chitchat with the friendly owners. Pretty extensive in size, there’s a whole section dedicated to specialty and health products as well as a a deli counter with pastries, wraps, sandwiches and freshly pressed fruit juices or smoothies. There’s also a self-serve coffee & tea counter.”

There are various supplements, herbs, and they even do juices, and vegetarian food options. The aisles are a bit narrow, so be mindful when walking through. There was R&B music playing and it made my shopping experience a bit more relaxing. The aloe I was looking for was right in front of the store, which it made things quick and easy to grab and go. I paid under $5 dollars for my aloe leaf and was able to use a card. The cashier was really pleasant checking me out.This is a hidden gem and its Black Owned! I look forward to visiting again soon!”

The variety of products that are gluten free and plant-based is extensive - mung bean crackers, Craize corn crackers, all kinds of fresh and bottled juices, discounts on kombucha. Prices are OK. It's not cheap, but I don't expect this kind of food to be, and it's New York.”
