“Our fundraising event was held at this venue, which offered a visually appealing and well-decorated environment. The staff provided excellent service, although the food quality was satisfactory.”
“My friends and I had a lot of fun throwing axes and we definitely lost track of time. When the guy who was working there realized we had a favorite type of ax, he gave us another one so we wouldn’t fight over it. We also had a lot of fun playing shuffle board and it was very clean.”
“Double the fun! Got to shop for everything Lavender and see and feed an Alpaca all in one location. The small store is packed with goodies and my alpaca scarf is keeping me warm. Can’t wait to go back in summer to see the field of lavender. Unexpected fun!”
“I’m so glad I picked this venue, it was very spacious and everyone was so helpful. Thank u Francine for all ur help u made my daughters sweet 16 so special! Please yall book the eventology yall!????”
“5/5 stars! The food is amazing, and the service is genuinely great. You can immediately tell the owners and staff here take pride in the quality they deliver and the care they give their guests. The gardens were incredible”
“I went for the Haunted Tavern cocktail experience. It's like a spooky ren faire show! I loved it, and I encourage dressing on theme when you go! I don't drink alcohol and they were very accommodating and made me my very own NA versions of the cocktails.”
“The best bowling lanes in central jersey. Others are not even close to Lucky strikes. All the lanes are well maintained. Lots of options at arcade for both the kids and the adults.”
“We came from out of town for a birthday party and it could not have been more perfect. Scenery, aesthetic, management, was all fabulous. Highly recommend for an event”
“It has a very nice driving range, putting greens and chipping area to learn or practice before heading out to a beautiful course. The staff is pretty awesome and attentive!”
“Just had our event at the BG American Legion- and I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about the location and the people that helped me pull off a really memorable day. From the second we walked in- until our final handshakes- Jim & Randy went above & beyond to make everything smooth & seamless. If I could give them a high5 and a hug - I would.”
“I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our birthday turned surprised engagement party! Throughout the whole planning process and day of, everyone at Winemakers of Somerset (thank you Bill, Mark, Karan, Jean Marie!) could not have been more welcoming, hospitable and caring. They helped make the day even more special and one we will truly never forget. To top it off, the bottling process was a ton of fun for the whole family and the wine is fantastic! We took home plenty of wine so we can relive the day over for many months to come. Could not recommend more highly for hosting an event, making your own wine or just having a fun day out!”

“Large, clean, well maintained. HUGE stage, lots of parking. Best thing is.... you are supporting our VETERANS when you tent the room. Manville VFW is the best!”
“My boyfriend and I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful service every time we stay at your facility. About a week ago we both got food poisoned at a popular Princeton diner downtown and your front desk was able to help us get top notch accomodation and service, at the last unplanned minute. Also we would like to praise your breakfast staff for providing great food and service with a smile, every single time we stay at your hotel.”
“Larger than a typical hotel room. Had conveniences you're not always sure if you're going to get (i.e., fridge, coffee maker: keurig, plenty of lighting, extra bedding materials, large couch & chair, decent sized desk, large dresser & roomy closet with slider-sized mirror, plenty of space around the bathroom sink & good-sized bathroom mirror, hairdryer, iron & board, shower with tub, and luggage holder) and an exit from the room to the outdoors (in place of enclosed patio) but more awesome because it's an entry door that you can use your room key to unlock.
Probably the best thing about this hotel was the included breakfast buffet in the morning - wow. Delicious! The second best thing? The Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake from the C-Bar (restaurant/bar inside the hotel). I could eat 10 of those. Honestly.
Wish I brought my bathing suit so I could've tried out their indoor saltwater pool!
If you want to know about tiny (minor nitpicking) details that weren't perfect? Pen in room looked sticky, tub didn't have grippy texture (almost fell when I got out for a second and tried to get back in), couple stains in carpet outside my room, and front desk person didn't know if c-bar restaurant (inside hotel) had dessert on the menu when I called them from my room to ask. The person said I would have to go there to find out - it's right next to the reception desk (vs. 4 to 5 hallway walk for me). On the brighter side (for my belly and wallet), I didn't know about the Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake the first night cause I would've probably had 15 of them by now.
Rooms: The great parts:

The not-so-great parts:
- Pen in room looked sticky
- Tub didn't have grippy texture (almost fell when I got out for a second and tried to get back in)
- There are a couple stains in carpet outside my room
- Front desk person didn't know if c-bar restaurant (inside hotel) had dessert on the menu when I called them from my room to ask. Safety: As the kind of person who is pretty vigilant about safety, I definitely felt more relaxed here compared to many other hotels I've visited. It's a couple miles out of the way (like 3 or 4 miles from shopping areas), in a largely grassy, campus-like area, and not on directly off a main road.
Food & drinks: Probably the best thing about this hotel was the included breakfast buffet in the morning - wow. Delicious! The second best thing? The Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake from the C-Bar (restaurant/bar inside the hotel). If you love Creme Brulee and the texture of Tiramisu, you will love this cake! Came with fresh strawberry slices, too!
Noteworthy details: The food alone makes this place worth it. I will probably be dreaming about the Red Berry Creme Brulee Cake for a few weeks.”

“Very clean and nice hotel. However they are undergoing a renovation. Parking is limited due to multiple storage containers taking up space on both sides of the hotel. I would go back.”

“We spent three wonderful weeks at this hotel and would definitely book it again. The staff was very friendly, attentive, helpful, and left nothing to be desired. The hotel is very centrally located, just a few kilometers from Princeton. Plenty of parking is available. Fast, free Wi-Fi is available. The room was large, with separate living and sleeping areas, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, and a sink. It was also very clean, and the towels were fluffy. A large selection for the American breakfast was provided.”

“Nice hotel whoever does your landscaping planted the trees and improper
The dirt should not be put around the base of a tree trunk. It causes disease and the tree to die as in the photos.”
“I've been going to Paint Fun Studio with the guidance of Mrs. R since I was 9 years old in fourth grade. I'm currently a senior in high school and about to turn 18. For the past (almost) 9 years, I've not only been learning art, but also growing up in Mrs. R studio. I started off going to classes once a week as a shy 9 year old who didn't talk to many people. I now come to class twice a week, have a nice group of friends, and look forward coming to the studio every week. Mrs. R not only strengthens your artistic talent but also your personality as you grow.
As a senior in high school, I'm applying to colleges now; Mrs. R inspired me to pursue a career in art and design. She has such a rich passion towards her craft and artwork that I hope to achieve through my career. This studio and Mrs. R have taught me so much to prepare for this next step in my life. Whether it's techniques, how to take critiques, what to expect in college, or just color theory and what medium to use, Mrs. R has truly taught me everything I know about art... including my passion for it.
As someone who has been in the studio for so long, I've also gotten the opportunity to be a teacher for Mrs R. I've also participated in many international and national art competitions, including winning 1st in the state and 11th in the country for the VFW auxiliary national art competition. She truly bends backwards and gives plenty of new opportunities for students to learn art, but also skills necessary for school, college, and beyond.
To Mrs. R, I wanted to thank you so much for everything you've done for me in the past 9 years and all your students in your years of teaching. We are all so grateful for your guidance and leadership. Your studio has become a second home that I'm always excited to come to and I can't wait for that to continue. I will miss the studio so much when I go to college and hope I can stay close by to continue teaching and visiting.”
