“Raymond Guisto, linden nj, blue collar, once you reach TSC, you have ascended to the next level of leadership, I’m there 4 times a month, get the part pay cash & go, get back to the job at hand, and what’s extremely helpful is when you walk in with the broken part and in 5 minutes you got it , a belt, a pulley, 4stroke parts , the list goes on, for my store, and all the other stores I drop in when I’m at other locations, TSC…… keeps my day moving in a timely fashion. U need it they got it.and forget there pet supply especially for dogs, we are dog people, now my wife is taking her girlfriends there,pet section is off the charts, I get nervous when I hear she’s shopping, lol,”
“i would like to say i called up this coastal at new dorp for the fact they had a specific outdoor main valve, i called to confirm and the manager at this location was very professional and gave his time without hesitation to inform me that they have it . when i arrived it was there waiting for me .he was well mannered and and i told him i,m a member in a large congregation church and I'm looking for service like this to make my plumbing projects easier so i proposed to opened an account with this coastal store even though there is another one closer to my business but they lack the patience and expertise in helping a novice they just cater to the professional probably regulars there”
“The other days i came to home depot for a project I have in my patio so i went to paint and garden to get some stuff I went to get some stain for my old patio wood fence I didn't know what to pick. And Shawn was very helpful on everything step..thank you Shawn..at garden I need it some small fences to prevent the small rocks to fall where we seat and pamela has help me find the perfect one she was very friendly and helpful...thank you ...”

Pete in the paints dept brought me right to the product I needed and I felt confident it was the right one, he was smart & funny ... Rich in hardware could not have been more patient and kind and helpful, thought he was finished helping me but then he came back to give me more info after checking with the guys in lumber ... and Jerry at self-checkout was friendly, and gentle, knew what she was doing, it was a pleasure. Kudos to whoever is doing the hiring at Lowes.”

“I went over here to get 1 pack of shingles so I can fix my roof I needed 3tab white shingles they did not have any but the young man called around and checked if they where available any where else and they where not.But he gave me 2 of similar color so at least I can patch my roof this place is awesome guy with the long hair and beard.Thank you guys so much you guys are awesome we need to support our local businesses,next time I need any roofing stuff or I can recommend you guys I will.

However, if you want a staff member to magically appear, try doing something you're not supposed to, like pretending to operate a forklift or grabbing one of their tall ladders to reach an item. Suddenly, they will appear."”

“My elderly mom and I were looking for flooring on a Tuesday night. Unlike the forest Ave location, none of the tiles were on display and worse there was not one person to help us except for one guy who was clearly busy loading items and operating a forklift. In my desperation I bothered him and he was nice enough To stop what he was doing. He also couldn't find what we're looking for but when others who would just say " We're out" he asked for a sku number. Turns out they had it but it was in a palette all the way to top. He grabbed his forklift and brought it down for us. Best of all, the item was discontinued and on clearance. Another lady came to help . They were both very nice. Ron and Lizette, you have restored my faith in what good customer service should be. Many workers and store managers have forgotten what that is”

“We were shopping for an entrance door for our home, and had actually purchased one at Home depot. While not being the exact door we were looking for, we were short for time as the installation as part of the project was near. A friend of mine suggested going to Home Surplus in Keyport N.J. and had mentioned that Michelle Hunt had helped him purchase a kitchen and design it with him. We went to Home Surplus with 4 days remaining till our project was about to start, and found the door there that we had been looking for. Michelle was very helpful with planning the door, as well as the staff who were additionally helpful. They actually build the door jambs onsite to the configuration you need. Ours being a single door with a side light. The door came out beautiful, they had it ready in 2 days and delivered it to coincide with the installation date. I highly recommend visiting Home Surplus for your building or renovation needs.”
